    From my personal experience, I found out people need fast and slow cardio as well as short and long cardio. Bear in mind that you need to listen to how your body feels. If you're not sure what your body can handel talk to a professional such as a trainer, sports doctor, or physo therapist.

    Do both. Research shows an 80-20 mix of aerobic and anaerobic is best.

    Seriously, if you want to know how actual track HIIT workout feels like?
    Go to your local school track, and run one complete lap as fast as you can.
    Then rest until your heart rate goes down to 120's.
    Do it again, again....
    Keep track of each lap time and rest time. Then do it all again next week.
    Don't worry about your max heart rate. It's a given that you are will max out. So, just focus on your work "output" and performance "times".
    Then you're ability to recover from the intensity, and endurance to repeat.

      Walking / rebounding/ light weight lifting.

      Right. Do a walk video on RUclips for your age group. 20 or 30 minutes for example walk away the pound. They have plenty walk video on you tube. Get you some cardio. I'm just someone who just watched and making suggestions for you since the question wasn't answered. 😊
