I was in an airband performance in 86. We got to see ourselves on the show. Probably a 3 second clip, but you could see us.

I used to run home from school hoping to see the 'Hot For Teacher' video.

Yeah, I loved this show. This looks like it's from the 1986/87 season. Toronto Rocks was on every day for 30 minutes sometime around 4-5pm in the late afternoon. Usually they'd show 3-4 of the newest hottest videos and sometimes they'd have a band or singer in to co-host the show with John Majhor. My favourite episode was back in 1982-ish when Iron Maiden was in town on their Power Slave Tour promoting their new album and the hit song Aces High and Bruce Dickenson was in the studio with John hosting the show. John asked Bruce what he thought about all the parents of kids who thought Iron Maiden was a bunch of devil worshipping guys. Bruce answered say they weren't and that the song "Number of the Beast" was just a bad dream or someone's nightmare. Then at the conclusion of the show, Bruce is sitting there with no clothes on and he stands up on the seat with a hat covering his privates. Then he throws the hat away showing he was wearing speedo's!!!!! Hilarious. I remember on Saturdays at 4pm there was the CHUM 50 countdown. That was once a week. Toronto Rocks was every day. Good times.

Man! That's the memory of the show that I have and has me searching now if it exists anywhere! 😂. I could not remember if the show was everyday or Thursday's, but we had a VCR and I figured out how to record shows on timer so that I could record these if I wasn't going to be home.

@roboshuffle That was Brad Giffen (John Majhor's replacement, not JD Roberts.
