I'm sitting here crying. My beautiful cat, Angel, after 15 spectacular years through some of the worst times of my life was forever by my side. I had to make the hardest choice to put him asleep 2 weeks ago today. It's still raw, my heart breaks. I miss you so much. I love this cover. I miss you Jimi, I miss you, Gary, I miss you, Angel. I imagine you all together. RIP.
I’ve had to make that hard decision twice in my life. Part of being a good owner is knowing when to let go, Angel loves you and will never leave your side, keep talking to him and when you feel extra emotional about your loss, remember that he is waiting for you and is going to have so many stories to tell when he comes running back into your arms. God bless you.
Oh God..... broken heart, am so sorry. I've had to say goodbye to two cats and was heartbroken, have a 3rd Rufus and he's 10 now and so handsome and funny. Jimi just was the best and always will be. Gary was the best and have visited his grave in Rottingdean of all places, lots of tributes there And have been to SRV statue in Austin TX. . Never saw Gary, but saw Lizzy in '76 Brunel and '77 Hammy.... will be with me forever, as will beloved Oscar and Fudge xx
I miss Gary ! One of the greatest to EVER strap on 6 strings or ever will. Thank you Gary for sharing with us your super talent and heart for you gave all.
It shows the difference between someone who plays guitar and lives guitar. Your never die you Legands as long as we remember..............rest in peace in the great gig in the sky.
Luther, Gary was unbelievably great guitarist. Saw him playing lead for Thin Lizzy back in the day live. His guitar with Phil's voice was special. Seen him solo a few times over the years just as impressive. We lost another great when he passed.
Should we start a discussion about who is a better guitarist etc bla bla bla or just listen&enjoy? With Hendrix I always felt joy, with Gary it is more tragedy. To make a world you need the two.
I had tickets to see Rush in 1982 and Gary Moore was the opening band. But I left to join the Navy and gave my tickets to my brother. Still I am there, especially when I am fucked up. Long live Gary and Jimi. White and Black can co exist.
Absolutely Stunning Cover of the Jimi Hendrix track, by Gary Moore there. Now they can play this track together up in the Great Gig in the Sky. Both Superb Guitarists and both sadly missed.........
They double uploaded the clip without sound on the second. Why you ask ????? Never the less.....a great job from the Lord of the Strings. RIP Gary Peace! ☮
I'm Southern and I can tell he is too because his accent comes through! Reminds me of The Band. It's not a bad thing. I moved to CA and get compliments on how nice mine sounds. Back to the song, love the guitar music on all his songs and I won't speak ill of the dead.
@@hesch-tag Gary had astounding musical hearing - perfect pitch. He could sing, produce and write in many different genres and play guitar in a myriad of styles. If you've heard a song like "Where Did We Go Wrong" and still don't think he's brilliant, then I don't know...
I was into Gary at the time SRV was out..and really thought Gary was better..had more soul.. SRV is dm good 2nd ..and both were better than Eddie van halen by that time.
I used to work at pizza hut in L.A. one day Gary come in and ask for a margarita and a pepperoni pizza. I tell him only if you play all of Beethoven paganini and Mozart. He played me a fart

This is absolutely sublime… you can tell this man lives for the guitar. A genuine ARTIST.

Gary Moore really knew how to play and sing. Highest calibre of rock musicianship.
Cool to see Gary with a Flying V and it sounds great!
And Rory, and Stevie, and countless other beautiful legends.
The only genuine individual sucessful artist to do genuine credit to raw love through the guitar idiom.

He was phenomenal ,miss him. One of my biggest regrets was I never got to see him live....
una bella personale interpretazione intensa e dolce.
I'm Southern and I can tell he is too because his accent comes through! Reminds me of The Band. It's not a bad thing.
I moved to CA and get compliments on how nice mine sounds. Back to the song, love the guitar music on all his songs and I won't speak ill of the dead.
Shirley Scott He's from Belfast, Northern Ireland...
Shirley Scott um he's irish
Thanks. I was only guessing and if I guessed again my answer would be Canada not Ireland so thank goodness the RUclips watchers caught that one!
Yikes…🤦🏽♂️ you couldn’t have been farther from the truth.
Gary was brilliant.as was Jimi.who have they been taken from us
chris snowdon to me Gary was great but never brilliant. The words Brilliant and genius are so easily used nowadays but rarely at the right moment.
@@hesch-tag Gary had astounding musical hearing - perfect pitch. He could sing, produce and write in many different genres and play guitar in a myriad of styles. If you've heard a song like "Where Did We Go Wrong" and still don't think he's brilliant, then I don't know...

In honor of his mother I've been told
Gary really was the dogs nuts.
ジミの曲は誰が演っても泣ける。が、ゲイリーのギターも良いよ。
I was into Gary at the time SRV was out..and really thought Gary was better..had more soul..
SRV is dm good 2nd ..and both were better than Eddie van halen by that time.
SpeCTacuLA. ExcCeLLant Tribute To THE MaSTer😂
Gary you left too soon.
Ме " Чёрный дрозд " Пола Маккартни больше нравиться .. пойду его послух хаю ... А эта композиция больно сложная, хотя и тоже хороша по своему 👍😁🥰

I used to work at pizza hut in L.A. one day Gary come in and ask for a margarita and a pepperoni pizza. I tell him only if you play all of Beethoven paganini and Mozart. He played me a fart

Why does Gary have to hit those chords with so much attack?
Gary Moore and Stevie Ray. Two white dudes who channeled the black pioneer better than anyone.
0:00 "fuck jimi !!!"
Fiona Apple did a cool cover of this too.
