Have you seen their 2013 DAOMU cosplay by any chance? It's not based off a manga, but I watched it without knowing anything either (I just wikipediaed to knwo the basic setting). There's a video floating around somewhere with Eng/Chn subs that I could link if you're interested. Their action gets really badass about 18 minutes in, and also, the main three characters are also cosplayed by Gin, Zura & Takasugi's cosplayers :D (and Luffy/Kamui gets one of the most badass characters/fight moves)

And if you google "daomu" the first result should be the wiki page on a brief character desc. and some stuff. the cosplay is actually relatively good in its consideration for people who don't know it, and the first 8 minutes is like, character introduction/book synoposis *coughspoilerscough* for the series, and then the cosplay is set 8 years after the series ended. But long story short (spoilers!), it's pretty much about a guy whose family has always been dealing with tomb robbing and stuff, and likes reading his grandfather's notebook about his grave robbing adventures. But then when he found a map to this really epic tomb, he ends up going on this adventure with his third uncle, and some others. And you know how it works; one adventure leads to another. And then something (that I don't know, 'cuz i haven't finished reading the book) happens, that ends up trapping the hooded guy (2nd main character) for 10 years in a hole or some stuff. Eventually, the main guy does stop tomb robbing and this is eight years later, where he gets dragged to another adventure or something, and the whole idea or message of the skit is that the story doesn't have to end yet~ Lol, I think I just confused you instead, but yeah~ screw the plot and watch for the action/dance if you must? :'D
haha, thanks for the synopsis - it helps that I understand what is actually going on. Hm, I searched up the manhua and the plot seems interesting enough. Also, it includes genres I like (action, adventure, fantasy). I think I'm going to give it a try and read it before watching the skit. Guess I'll just skip to watching the skit then.
