Still time trial 10 & 25 miles on my 1959 Carlton Catalina. Never first, but last with class!!!❤❤ Always a good day out!
I love old bikes because of the nostalgia. I have an 80’s Colnago Super that I saved up money for when I was 15. I bought it from a camera shop, whose owner was an Italian bike enthusiast and he had all the good stuff. Took me about 2 years to get that bike running. Campagnolo Super Record derailleurs. Universal brakes and crankset. Cinelli handlebars and some Mavic wheels I bought used. I probably put about $3000 in to that bike and for the 80’s, that was a lot of money.
Some great looking pieces of art, no better way of getting around than on a recycled vintage classic! Priceless all the very best Andy
not as cheap as yours there greedy
Well now it's 2023 and these are now valued at £100 each from £1500 , not good is it now , prices dropped off a cliff 2022 ...
I'm about to complete my 1983 Benotto 850 restoration to the original new stage, it looks and feel amazing, it is an incredible history as I sold it when student and recover it 29 years later, I was able to find new old components from Suntour and Suzue, not the top of the gama but original as it was build, thanks for share, keep the good job!
When I was a young guy I went to a bike store in Cleveland Ohio that had all of the big names of the day: Colnago, Rossin, Falcon and many others . I wanted one of those Italian beauties in the worst way but 700.00 to 1000.00 dollars was out of reach for a 14 year old kid. Now I found your web site so maybe I can make my dreams come true finally. Keep up the good work. These aren't just bikes but also works of art. Nothing like Campy Super Record on a classic like these.
Go for it, and get the period kit!!! Stay safe😂
A dream come to life, great ,wonderful, people that love the steel bikes ,and love them. My kind of people my kind of place

Greetings from UK. Would love to get my hands on a late 70's Chicago Schwinn road bike, the fillet brazed type, just fantastic.
BoogieKnight1976 I have one.
Love my ('96) reynolds 853 mtb frame ☆
I still have one very special racing bike left on display. It is a Holdsworth Cyclone racing road pro model kustom made for the big tours. 1948 fully restored to show condition. It took me several years to find some of the parts but it is finally done. And with a place of honor hanging up in my living room is a blast. Next to frame my old racing jersey’s and leather helmets to finish up.
That's a very sad story because that poor bike was made to be ridden, not hang from your ceiling gathering dust. Personally, I absolutely hate stories like yours. I see it all the time, a guy owns a classic exotic car just to have it parked in his garage, never to see the light of day. That's a sick mind, in my opinion.
very good shop !!!
Cracking bikes, I'm lucky to have a Chas Roberts White Spider, had it built years ago XT groupset Mavic Paris Dakar rims, still thrash it off road weekly, it's my dream bike 🍻
very good job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you guys happen to have any info on a Soma Competition? I've looked everywhere and have found very little to go on so far. And what would be a fair price for it?
Cool !

Woah, that Gios at 1:13 looks a lot like my bike :-)
I had a frame #32 Ferdi Kessels Main D'Or Road Bike with full Campy n Cinelli back in 1977. Have you ever come across a Reynolds 531 Kessels built frame? It was said he built bikes for Eddy Merckx back in the late 60's n early 70'
love it!

This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
