Hey everyone todays upload is a list of 10 mansions that anyone could afford and nobody wants! These houses used to be awesome but somewhere along the way something happened that made all these homes practically worth nothing. These homes aren't completely garbage but definitely could use some renovations, but for the prices they are its all worth it! Let me know which piece of real estate is your favorite and share it with my in the comment section down below.

Ok but you didn't tell us why no one what's to buy them?
Too much work i guess…
He says in beginning mansion no one wants to buy for some unknown reason. That’s only thing I heard him say as to a why.
Clickbait.
Houses most likely sod years ago.
@@saulgoodman2018 I agree, they probably all turned into soccer fields.
The Southern Belle exterior looks like the exterior of the home in “The Notebook.”
The reason why people might not buy could be that they are too costly to maintain or might be HUNTED. Who needs stress.❤😂
Usually if a home can't sell, something is wrong with it, or the neighborhood it is in. It's not smart to buy a house located near a river due to the risk of flooding.
Looking to buy all the properties
Taxes are another huge reason some have trouble selling.
Not just that, it is also extremely too much work to keep maintained especially if you living alone.
It Might be Someone Invisible Occupy the House. 😂😂😂😂😂
@@individual1199 only if you believe in
Just guessing here, since it's not explained why these properties aren't selling - but many large homes end up having staggering, yearly property taxes, combined with upkeep costs that end up being hundreds of thousands of dollars you'd have to shell out every 12 months, often simply because of their locations, which make them incredibly tough to sell. This means that middle class buyers who could afford the basic cost, can't afford to keep them and more wealthy people can do better in areas with lower property taxes - so they end up just sitting there.
I think you nailed it.
its not necessarily the up keep thats the problem its the taxes
Nope. It's all about crime.
Since Silicon Valley Bank just closed down, the CA mansions will not be selling! They are beyond auction status!
@@fareshajjar1208 Rule number 1 when buying any home, don't be within walking distance to a crack house.
Besides all the "buyer beware" reasons not to get too excited about purchasing an old mansion, these places require domestic workers inside and out. Also the area zoning laws may require historic homes to be restored with natural building materials. So we are talking the well-known Money Pit here!
Some of them might require you move the home altogether depending contract.
These laws will not apply in every state lol
@@movieclipz1441 Which laws? I only said that they might require you to move the home depending contract. A lot of time that is the case, because you bought the house and not the property. People don't read the fine print and that's how they get you.
Nah. It's all about the crime. Check the demographics of the neighborhood and you will see why no one wants it.
Absolutely agree! I lived in a heritage home a few years ago and every change had to be approved by the committee. I eventually sold it because it had led pipes that could have caused potential poisoning and they fought me for 2 years to keep the integrity of the home intact. I was never so happy to leave someplace I loved so much.
I tried to find these homes for sale and none were. They were also appraised for much more than $300k. Very strange.
One of them is close to me he said was 299,000. Not sure how he gets his info but none of it is correct. the vintage home in TX listed for sell at 450,00 back in 2019 and sold. Zillow now has it Est at 669,000
The realtor forgot to tell you the taxes haven't been paid in over 5 years...So I got this huge house for $300,000 the back taxes are $120,000 and then after I purchase the house at settlement I needed another $50,000..So basically just to walk in the door you need about $500,000 that's probably how he's working these so-called deals..🤣🐂💥💨😴😴😴😴
@@monicapena1976 o
Makes you say MMmmmm....................LMAO!
U're absolutely right about him not telling why nobody wants these mansions
I checked out the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired house in Texas and from what I see it sold in 2019 for between $400,00.-$600,00. Its currently not available for sale.
Where was it in Texas...he only gave address
Soon as I heard this I knew it was fake😂
@@rachaelbrown7771 kilgore
@@ELDO84 I am trying to remember where that would have been. I lived in Kilgore and went to school in Kilgore, but vaguely remember this house.
@@rachaelbrown7771 cool looking house...but I dont think Kilgore would make it worth it..lol
I want the books in that library!
ALL THE BOOKS!
I can add to my library!
Sadly, many of my books are packed away since selling my house. I had wall to wall bookcases! Presently, I only have 5 but eventually they'll all be up and filled!!
I MISS my library so much.
Books are the greatest things ever!
Better than Indian food or cannolis.
Better than makeup, clothes or shoes.
Better than jewelry!
Better than everything!
My heart breaks when I see all the books in those abandoned estates throughout Europe. Left to rot and
mold and become. I wish I could adopt them all and bring them home with me!!!
I go to estate sales where i have found a few "gems" (rare, first edition books) worth a couple bucks.
@@_313_bdriyes true
Property Tax, Upkeep Cost, Utilities alone would bankrupt most people even if they got the house for free, it would be an awesome bed and breakfast or fancy motel.
I think the cost of up - keeping a large house, plus the taxes and property maintaince puts off a lot of buyers. Most older homes are expensive to heat in the winter and keep cool in the summer ... I am quite content to live in my 3 bedroom bungalow.
Reminds me of an old saying "If it looks and sounds too good to be true, IT IS!!
I don't care what's going on, I want it
The second house in Kilgore Tx sold for 450,000.00 and boasts a Helicopter pad on the roof. There isn't anything hardly less that 275,000.00 in Wild Rose WI. That town is very expensive to purchase a home. 1500 sq ft ranch 340,000.00 The contemporary home is near me in Kalamazoo MICHIGAN. I know MI get's confusing. lol
These houses are nice. I see many in comments saying they’re not for sale or they sold for more. But what I have to say is why was it thought that no one wants them?
Clickbait bullshit.
I just said the same exact thing to my daughter right now. If I could afford one, I would in a heartbeat. I wouldn't matter if a mass murder happened.
@@MissK.9607I know right
@@carinarosales6899 Exactly. It just adds to the charm of the house.
My guess is that the back taxes owed are unaffordable or that you can’t get a clear title. Probably lots of claims filed against the property.
I've looked up a few of these and im pretty sure none of these are actual listings
You’re “pretty sure”
After looking them up?
Wouldn’t you be certain?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
No kidding
Maybe some kind of zoning issues. Crazy taxes for whatever reason. There has to be a reason. How long have they been on the market?
Wished the video would mention why it's not selling. Murder on site? Haunted? Lien on the land?
I pulled up the Frank Loyd Wright house on Henderson in Texas on Zillow and it’s sold in 2019 and it’s not currently listed for sale. Not sure where you’re getting your stats.
All these house probably sold already.
Usually when nobody wants a cheaply priced mansion it’s because either the taxes are insanely high or the maintenance costs are even higher. Probably a mix of both not to mention utilities per month. It’s kinda like buying a Lamborghini real cheap thinking u scored but then finding out the insurance is 18k a yr and a set of brake pads will set u back 1100 bucks lol
I would definitely have it!! It's absolutely beautiful, stunning x
Me to
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful homes! It’s too bad no one wants them!
The home in Wild Rose Wisconsin is an absolute gem. The barn is located across the road from the main residence. I think it be ideal for anyone with a large family wanting a rural location.
I totally love that barn ranch home feeling
as a couple of people have said in the comments wouldn’t these fantastic homes be Haunted that’s why all of these haven’t been sold
It would be a nightmare to have that much home to take care of and keep in good shape and repair
It’s definitely worth preserving the homes in the video, they are all beautiful! My house was build in 1930 and almost 4,000sq ft, and we love it. Although older homes aren’t for everyone, not everyone considers them a nightmare!
Use it for mental health folks that were thrown out on the street
Watched the whole thing y’all so cool! Thanks for the show
hey kyle hope you doing good💕
Beautiful homes
I loved these, Kyle!! Fantastic
I’d be seriously leary about buying a house rt now, considering that the housing market will go bust again real soon.
Don’t know why these low prices but sounds great!
Interesting video. Homes nice I guess. Nothing I would jump on. Are you changing course on your youtube platform? Keep on rocking Kyle 😜
You couldn’t buy a cardboard box in New Jersey for $300k… I’d live in any one of these houses!
Maryland too! Smh...
Can't wait to see you this video I wonder if there's any inside shots looks cool
This is a very nice tiny house beautiful great to have it on property with the home good job
Do the houses have some awful memories/history??
Awesome!!
They are beautiful homes
My guess, if if you can afford to buy them the taxes will kill you. Not to mention the upkeep and heating and cooling it.
Scranton made the list! Nice!
Great video 📸📸📷
Hi Kyle. I just caught the video's & 1 of them really caught my attention. It was the last 1, the "Cozy" in Kalamazoo, Missouri...🤔. You mentioned it was near downtown Kalamazoo & Westnedge Ave. I live in a Kalamazoo, Michigan near a Westnedge Ave. That would be a real coincidence if there was a Westnedge Ave. near a Kalamazoo in Missouri. Are you sure it's in Missouri?
Them old homes is HAUNTED!
I love it. Wish it will be mined. 🙏
These are beautiful
If it's a absolutely free house I'll take it
Years ago I could have purchased a 14,000 sqft house for roughly 300K , some did purchase it and did a full restoration of it- because where its located it still would be sold for under 1M. I am looking for a Mid Century Modern/Contemporary/Modernist to redo; being an Industrial Designer - I am not crazy about mod homes that have been badly flipped. I will check OMAZE out.
Thanks for another great video keep up the good work much love and respect to you
Thanks
Take them all please, Merry Christmas ❤️
Incredible movie. Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Dude. Not to call you out, but I have a couple questions. I've searched and found Kalamazoo in 5 states; Nebraska, Arkansas, West Virginia, Florida, and of course, Michigan. NOT in Missouri. Also, is this video not the same one you put out quite a while ago? I remember checking on three of these houses and found that none of them, at the time I saw this video before, were for sale. AND, the ones that had been sold were way more than your $300,000 quote. Where did you get your info from, AND, on getting the info, did you not check it out? Not much as time goes, but this was a wasted 11 minutes!!!
I'm about 100 miles from kalamazoo and I've never seen This House..Not the Greatest neighborhood..
They all look like they're way more than what he's saying. He doesn't say why no one wants to buy them too.
From Michigan..Never seen It !
He keeps reposting old videos as if they where new. I used to like this channel and only stay to see if he ever updates his renovation.
@@matthewholtz8830 nice to know..
Holy crap! These beauties are cheaper than the average 3 bed 2 bath house in suburbia! Why isnt anyone buying these unique places? Now one thing is the heating and cooling costs will probably be high or maybe some of the older ones are haunted???
they have all been sold!
Because this video is bull s..t 😆
Many homes like this are no longer in desirable areas, needs massive unseen renovations, foundation, termite issues, roof repairs etc! We sold our 6000sq ft childhood home for $289k, great bones, small town, although it was well maintained definitely needed updating and the neighborhood wasn’t as desirable any longer 🤷🏼♀️ If the home was in say the Dallas area we could have sold for $800k + just the way the cookie crumbles!
Hi Kyle, I'm curious ,besides closing costs these houses have taxes due or ???? How much at for the Scranton pa home
Beautiful homes in very interesting videos unfortunately we can't see all the inside I'm glad to see if we do what you're doing something different this is very very nice
I would take it for free and knock the awful bits down and build a small cottage for guests!
So kyle, i'm curious, why no one is buying these homes when they soundand look so fantastic? I mean, in my mind, even if one had murders in it or were believed to be haunted it still would be better than the 11 to 20 million these mansions would be priced at here in california plus it would make a great halloween special, dont you think?
Skye
Awesome
Watching your video is interesting. Seeing this places is just like a travel it seems to be that I was there watching the beautiful places.
If they give it to me for Free I'll take it - Atlanta, GA
I like the Georgetown SC home
Love to see one of these for Washington State
Hello. Have a safe blessed night! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I would take it for free... Don't really care what's going on, unless if it's plumbing or roofing problems.
Yes true
Hi Kyle, very much interested in some of these great homes. Do you sell them or put us in touch with those that do? Look forward to hearing from you.
I am a listing agent selling a few of these homes! Which might you be interested in?
Wow I would take one
The last one you did was in Kalamazoo Michigan
Any of those with a few acres I will totally take.
When houses like these are listed for very little it’s because they want a bidding war….brings more people and higher offers
Oooouuuu. . . How smart
Wrong. It’s usually because they want the land and for you to move the house off the land.
hi Kyle and to the guys this is so beautiful hope you guys be safe out there 🙏🙏🙏 hope to see more videos love your videos and love your house that you are living in ❤️ you guys like this video to much money for those houses
I'll take it for sure
Oh my beautiful homes thanks for sharing ☺️
As long as people
Keep viewing and liking false videos you will continue to pay this man’s bills. People don’t you know people make money off of you tube whether it’s fake or real. More and more fake and false videos are appearing. Because it’s a pay check to these people. They don’t care if they are trying to fool you.
All they need is some good landscaping and gardening
Nice 👍
I saw the home with the checkered floor in the beginning of this video and instantly knew everything about the house. The floor says it all. Some of the worst people to ever live in America built some of the biggest homes.
WOW wish l could get one
I would buy the one in Kalamazoo Missouri and the other 1 in Missouri I love them they're beautiful
I happen to check a few of these. Although they are cheap....well the property taxes ARE NOT. Not to mention insurance on these monsters. Always keep this in mind before you even consider sinking more money into them.
Yes good question I’d buy one if I had money !
My family is homeless. My husband is in the hospital recovering from emergency brain surgery he got after his accident on 6/24/22. We were left homeless. We are 4 strong with 2 cats. Norcal
Kyle, super cool direction to take some of your videos! I first was watching you from your urbex videos, but anyone watching those knows how hard that is to do in the states sometimes.....your "new" home mansion renovation videos were the last I saw of you, but I like this new kind of content, and it seems to suit you.....at least what I know of you.
Anyway, I saw the title of the video and having ran into a few with similar titles over the years, I put them off because they tend to be generic, not yours, but the "mansions no one will touch" thing. There are a lot of videos like this out there, but then I saw your name, so I saved it, for that reason alone lol, and it was a good move because this was great. The information you gave in the narration and the pictures were great and it was all tied together really well! Including the prices, square footage and details like the cannonball in the building still are the kind of details that keep me watching.
I was subscribed before, dont know what happened, but this video made it happen again....I guess I can thank the algorithm lol.
I want to buy one.
Need to see the inside of the homes🥴
I need the house
These are great homes that can house orphan children!
@thumbnail… now this is a house 😮
Even if you got one for free, it would cost several thousand dollars a month in upkeep, another several thousand in utility bills, and another several thousand for security.
I have a question about the house in Missouri ? I’m very interested and wanted to know if you had pictures of the interior?
WOW !!!!
The first home looks just like the one in the movie Sweet Home Alabama where the crazy man lived.
GEORGIOUS
Kyle, it’s Kalamazoo Michigan!
Better to have a manageable house in a good accessible location in a city which offers good jobs.
The taxes and upkeep are the reason some don't sell
I love watching your videos they're totally awesome 😁👍🌹💖🌹💖🌹💖🌹💖✌️😇
That thing is not worth $100,000 , no way !
I'll have it.x
Are any of these houses still for sale
