I love this game, honestly its my favorite of the Trilogy. Why? You can actually play as DK, im fine with DKC2 but Really DKC3 shouldve been DK and Dixie. It was supposed to be that actually, and apparently a metal-ized Diddy would appear as a boss. Instead we got Kiddie Kong...UGGGHHH

***** Actually in SSBB, When you fight DK as Snake in the Shadow Moses stage and have Snake do the Codec easter egg (I think you press both taunt buttons on the Wii-mote) Colonel Cambell tells you this. I did every single codec call when i first discovered it. Cambell tells you this.

The Donkey Kong you play in this one is Jr, Cranky was the one who kidnapped Mario's girlfriend, all Jr. did was rescue his father from Mario who locked him in a cage. Until now anyway. A lot of people don't realize that Cranky is the Donkey Kong form the original games and that the one you play in Country and onwards is actually his son, or maybe grandson.

I played this when I was 8 years old on the GBA I beat the game but it took a long time for me to finish it. This game brings back memories.
