In Donkey Kong 64, Donkey Kong DOES weigh 800 pounds according to the microphone guy in the final boss stage. However, the heaviest Kong (as well as being the strongest Kong) is Chunky Kong, who apparently weighs 2000 lbs.
@KingKienzan Damn, DK64. I love that game. I don't remember that boss, tho'. Where was that one? I only remember getting all Kongs, but that's it. My memory's pretty bad. D:
@zomgcontraishard It wasn't a boss actually. It was one of those mini-games. You played as a Klap-Trap, and had to herd these beavers into the hole in the middle. It was incredibly awkward, because you had to be incredibly precise, and if they weren't walking towards it, and facing it, they wouldn't go in.
Fair enough, but considering his size in these games that still doesn't make sense. I know he's really buff and muscle can weigh a lot, but for him to be 800 pounds at that size would make him beyond morbidly obese! Now the original Donkey Kong on NES I could see weighing 800 pounds as he was a freaking giant! This one, however, I'd say 250 tops
I've read that Expresso is a guy. I'm pretty sure all of the animal buddies in DKC1 are guys. Also, there's no way in hell that DK weighs 800 lbs! I'd believe 200 lbs, but 800 is an insane exaggeration
So they could actually make money from giving thousands of people entertainment as opposed to having a standard 9-5 job? Those fucking sellouts! How dare!
