- hi!! i'm back with another craft-related video, and today we're talking about second act sag: what it is, how to identify it in your own work, and some ways to beat it. to be honest, i wish i had been a little bit more eloquent and coherent here, but what can you do.
as always, if you have your own thoughts on second act sag and ways you combat it, let me know in the comments! i really like to see how other writers tackle common problems; we all have such unique ways of dealing with issues that pop up in our novels. that's beautiful, man.

Little fun pit stops is a GREAT way to view it. It can be frustrating, but revisions are always going to be another opportunity to fix what’s not working.

I'm struggling with this a lot in my current novel outline! I have a lot of disparate elements I want to braid together, but after a certain point I'm unsure of the line of consequence that'll 1) progress the plot, and 2) tie all those elements in. It's very tricky! At least it's comforting to know this is a common enough problem that it's not insurmountable xD
