The price of this DeWalt DCMWSP244U2 Cordless Battery Walk Behind Self Propelled Mower is $549.00. Someone demo this mower and said it is only $499.00. Why is the price changed?
U
I have to agree with you and this entire review. I bought mine yesterday and the machine is spectacular! I mostly love that I dont have to deal with gas, oils and that kinda maintenance. I just found your channel yesterday, good stuff!
Thanks for sharing Sawyer
Just bought this mower. I haven’t used it yet but am excited for my first battery powered mower. I hear a lot of people talking about the charger being slow. One, you don’t need a fast charger because nobody cuts their grass multiple times a day. Secondly, with the average of 3 days between mowing why increase the mower cost with more expensive chargers. Thirdly, how many people actually take the batteries off the charger as soon as they are done? Most of the time they stay on the charger for hours or even days after a charge is done before removing.🤷♂️
I bought it and it has been great so far
I plan to do more testing videos with it.
Fantastic Video Review Jeff!!! Just bought this mower and you answered absolutely EVERYTHING! A++ Job Fella!! 👌🤟✊🏻
Thanks Maddie I'm glad you liked the video
Great review Jeff! Looks like a nice machine. I agree with you about the included batteries and chargers. Should have included a fast charge system. Have a great weekend!
Thanks 👍
Love the in depth review. Any plans to do a similar review for the new attachment capable trimmer? Keep the awesome content coming!
I have so many tools stacked up now it would be a while but I still have no decided to get it or not
Another Great Video! Every time you show your outside videos with the sunshine and warm weather, I am getting jealous that I am freezing up here with a foot of snow in April. Doubt I will need a mower with winter becoming 10 months long.
Wish they would offer a battery powered Snowblower! Wish I could trade you some snow for your sun! We got another foot coming this weekend.
Glad you like them! Battery powered snow blowers would be awesome
Very informative review. Helpful for assisting me while choosing a new mower!
Great to hear!
Okay, so, the batteries. It's not using them one after the other - it's using them in parallel. Their 60 volt line is for torque-hungry applications, like ripping through thick lumber or bearing down on a grinder without bogging down. This is just essentially a sharpened flywheel -- it doesn't require power, it requires longevity. Sure, a 60 volt battery runs "3 times longer" in 20 volt mode, but that only gets you to the AH value written (usually 9 AH on the flex volt batteries). By putting TWO 20 volt batteries in parallel, it's essentially turning two 10 AH batteries into one 20 AH battery. And that's giving you RUNTIME. Lots of runtime. It's lawn mower - if it doesn't last for a whole job, you're SOL.
But here's the catch: since they drain at the same time, if one is a 5 AH battery, it will run out before the 10 AH battery and essentially become a resistor. At that point the system doesn't have enough power. That's why you need to use two of the same battery.
Mine did my whole yard and only dropped one battery bar
@@jeffostroff that’s because it’s a 10ah
What Mike said. It's all about runtime, not torque. Dewalt did the batteries exactly right.
Great video and clear like I was watching you in real life. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video, thank you. I think It's a 40-volt mower but I think DeWalt gave up on their 40-volt line so they chose to use 20-volt batteries. The reason I believe this to be true is because the batteries are both drained at the same rate and they finish charging at the same time. Thanks again for the great video.
Great point!
Very thorough and excellent review
Great detailed video, got a sub here. This guy knows what’s what and I can say that because i see a GX in his drive way great choice
Awesome, thank you! Welcome aboard Brian!
I bought the mower and when I engaged the drive wheels it started to go in reverse! I took a few bolts loose to remove the cover and saw they had twisted the belt when it was installed. Easier to fix than box up and take back to store. I do like it's light weight and the way it automatically increases power when it is in thick grass.
Yes, I noticed when it snagged on a thick plant, the speed increased.
Awesome video and review jeff!
Glad you enjoyed it
Been really interested in the Dewalt mower as I have a collection of 12 - 60 volt flex batteries and 3 fast chargers. I am also baffled why they give the 20 volt batteries with 2 useless chargers. It would almost be better if I could purchase as (tool only). Ty for the review.
Glad to help!
Thanks for another great review, Jeff. I bet it would do a better job mulching if it had a better blade...
I think it might be because I had the deck set t the highest setting. I plan to try it again on low deck setting
Jeff I’m on dewalt platform and purchased this mower! I’m prolly going to return it and get me an ego and see, last resort going back to gas Honda hrx!!
I love my gas Honda also but I hate the gas
My friend I buy one is amazing.... I love is very powerful thanks for your videos sir good job 👍
My pleasure
Great video. Nice camera lens to have that bokeh effects. One question though if you don't mind. Did you try inserting your flexvolt batteries? I was told by online chat rep that the other model (DCMWP233U2 non self-propelled model) can take either 20v max or flexvolt batteries.
Hey Jeff! You can use your 60V battery on any 20V tool! It will extend the run time!
Yes, all Flexvolt batteries become 20v batteries when used on a 20 v tool
It still doesn't make sense that they used a 20v system when they have 60v systems and even 120v out there running. It would be more powerful and more efficient.
Purchased the DCMWSP244U2 today. Mowed my moms yard on a pair of 9Ah batteries and my mother-in-laws yard on another pair of 9Ah batteries. The supplied 10Ah batteries are still charging.
I'm not 100% sold on the Dewalt. I also have a Honda HRX217HYA and Toro TimeMaster 30". I was looking for a smaller mower that wouldn't get clogged up with weed goo.
Yes I thought it was ironic that the charger they supply for these 10 amp hour batteries is like their bottom of the line charger. If you have any of the yellow fast chargers I would charge those tenant batteries on that instead
Thank you for this video, helps a lot!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Excellent review.
Many thanks 🤠 🇦🇺
Is the self drive, belt driven or electric?
Thanks again
This was a nice review.
Thanks, glad you liked it
cant wait for fathers day... hopefully its on sale.
I would not expect much of a sale on this one, they usually discount lawnmowers $20 at most. Your best bet is to see if your Home Depot will accept the Lowes 10% off card, like I did, that will give you $50 right now.
Enjoyed the video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello Jeff, hope you can help me out here. In your professional opinion does this lawn mower ever go on sale? And if so when does it? I’m in the dewalt platform and trying to get this to complete my lawn care equipment. Thank you for all you do!
Bought the push version, non self-drive and I love it. I don't have a very big lawn and I can mow twice and still have enough battery to run the weed wacker and leaf blower to clean up. I don't mind pushing the mower so I thought id save myself the $100. Great product, really love being able to fold it up and set it against the wall in my shed. Major space saver. Absolutely no regrets buying this unit.
Awesome, thanks for the input
Also it is a 40V, using these in tamdem, maybe the motor is sub par, I am certain we will see a 1 battery design in the future soon, let's go DeWALT!
I’ll stick to my high end gas powered Honda. I think 2008/2009 is when I bought it and it’s a champ. Gets all the leaves too.
Yes I will experiment with lowering the dewalt mower deck to see if that helps.
Great Video! I have learned a lot from you. My only complaint is all the pop up videos You Tube shoved into your video!
Nobody has control of the over that RUclips is always going to show commercials just like TV shows commercials
Nice review. I assume you can use the flex volt batteries instead if you have them?
I believe the reason it's 20v and not 60v is for runtime reasons. The runtime of a battery will theoretically be inversely proportional to the number of volts used while in use. So if it used 60v, the runtime would a theoretical 1/3 of the same size battery at 20v. Of course, real world use can differ drastically.
And my only gripe with this tool is the runtime, not power (not DeWalt's fault, just a lawn size thing), so I'm sure the product engineers were also trying to fix that the best they could.
I'm not an electrical engineer, so if I'm wrong on this, anyone feel free to correct me. I like learning.
Good video, as always.
I don't agree with your assessment of the inverse run time, but will be testing different battery types on this mower
Thanks for the review Jeff. How much charge did the batteries have after your friend's 1/4 acre cut?
2 battery bars. It was only about 30 minutes total mowing time there.
I purchased this lawn mower less than a year ago and was great when it worked, but the mower quit working after a few uses, I live in washington state so DeWalt said I will have to ship it to Illinois at my cost for repair to be covered and Home Depot will not cover after 90 days. So if you purchase make sure you pay for extended service.
Good to know! Luckily mine is still working since 2021
Great video 👍
Great review, thanks Jeff. 500 seems steep to me.
HEh Heh...you know I only paid $359 for it. Home Depot mismarked it on the floor at $399, the price for the push mower version. Then I used a 10% off Lowes coupon and got another $40 off.
@@jeffostroff Nice!
Nice well paced and thorough review. One question for me not answered: how fast is the pace ? Is this a slow walk, or can you rip through it?
I have a good sized lawn I like to mow weekly, maybe even 2X during spring, I can push my current mower(Craftsman 2 motor, 2 blade battery) really fast, and like to get 'er done.
Speed adjust, you can walk at a brisk pace or slow it down
@@jeffostroffwhere do you adjust the speed, just with the handles or is there another area to adjust?
Great video thanks 👍🏻
Do you know if there are any plans for an adaptor or fitting that allows the mower to be fitted with dual blades?
Not that I know of I would love to see them come out with a dual mulching blade like the brand new mower that Ryobi just got i stock at Home Depot
@@jeffostroff thanks for the quick reply Jeff.
It's a good point. It must be they will replace the 40v ope tools with 60v and 120v ope professional tools.
count me in when they do, and they need to move the drive to rear wheel drive and make the rear wheels bigger.
@@jeffostroff what's the blue bag for? It come with mower
Ego seems to be better thought out-quicker recharge time, better storage capability, longer run time.I have a Toro 60 volt Personal Pace, and it cuts very well, but I just do not like the self propelled system, prefer push mowers.
this would have been a great and very useful review if only you had tested the bagging functionality
That will come in another video, this was getting too long!
The 107 charger Is a .7 amp charger... that is the smallest I think. It's definitely for overnight trickle charge. Will give you very healthy batteries for a long time. Get 2X dcb 118 if you want fast charging, or the 112 (2 amp) or 115 (5 amp) for middle ground. I wouldn't suggest the 1112 (12 amp) it is super fast but I assume you're battery run time will degrade much faster
Yes I need to do more research on that I've heard people say that rapid charging your batteries will kill them, but I've not seen any official Test reports from some reliable laboratory or somebody was real knowledge on the subject.
@@jeffostroff I'm a huge battery geek, I have like 3000 18650 cells a couple dozen 21700s and a pile of pouch cells I do projects with. I'm certain without a doubt that higher amp charging will degrade over time. But your right that the threshold may be much higher then 12 amps. With 21700 they usually can handle very high amperage. But I still think the lower the better. What I do is pick the charger for the amount of time I need it to charge in. If I had one lower then a .7 I would fully use it for the times the battery's are down but I won't need them for a while.
@@jeffostroff I plan on getting 200a rated pouch cells at some point and making a monster pack to see what happens lol. They would be about 2-4X the amp output of the 9ah and 12ah flex but they would be 8ah or 10ah batteries give or take.(and very large In dimentions.) I will be cannibalizing the PCBs from a flex volt pack. And 3d printing a case.
I'd like to see a review on the Ryobi 40 volt mower. I like the bigger wheels, twin blade and what looks like more power on the Ryobi. 🙂 I don't care what Shakra says! I like Ryobi, I'm a home diy not professional. 😊
Ok just did some homework, the dual blade is another hundred dollars. 😳
On the deWalt?
@@angelajasper8841 and Ryobi is also a poorly put together machine. Many bad reviews about its quality.
Hey Jeff, is there any way you can compare the power and quality of cut of the Dewalt battery xr mower and the Honda HRX mower you already own as seen in your video. Thanks for the great content.
I have shot video for that, look for it in the coming week!
@@jeffostroff Will do. Thanks! (I also own an HRX)
Did you ever do a review with the flex volt batteries? I didn’t see it
I'd love to see you load 100 lbs into all the systems and see which handles and wheels handle the load best
Might try that one day on a video
How long did it take to charge the 10ah battery’s ?
Thanks jeffo. Have u used any other battery mowers to compare it to? Including other dewalt models?
This was my first cordless mower that I tried
@@jeffostroff thx Jeff o. Do u have any vids or opinions with the green works pro or makita battery wheelbarrows or other brands ???
Thanks Jeff😎😍😎😍😎
Thanks ted!
great video
Glad you enjoyed it peter
Should do a comparo with the makita x2
If I could get one from somebody I would.
I am considering this mower. Can you keep it outside if it rains?
I have the same complaint and bewilderment as you on the 20v design. They didn't even have to design a new battery to make a high voltage mower. They could have very easily designed this thing to run on 120 volts with two 60 volt batteries in series. With a well-made motor I think it would have made a very efficient mower. Another option would have been to maybe do two 60 volt motors with one mounted to a front wheel and the other mounted to the wheel next to it. Although I think one large motor at 120 volts would probably be the most efficient.
My plan is to keep my super old gas mower running long enough for them to eventually put out a 60 volt or 120 volt mower.
We might be waiting a long time.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure at at the same Ah rating, 3x the volts used at once means 1/3 the run time.
I have a DeWalt battery mower and power isn't an issue, while runtime is.
@@JJ-iu5hl all I know is electric motors run better and more efficiently at a higher voltage. Dewalt makes a circular saw in 60 volts which I have, and they also make a 20 volt version and the 60 volt version outperforms the 20V saw.
If you are having trouble with run time then the problem is simple, the batteries are not large enough.
Two of DeWalts larger 60V batteries with their 60V motors would give you plenty of runtime. They have the technology for that type of system, I don't know why they didn't implement it. If they had their mower would be getting rave reviews.
Did notice it did not pickup the leaves or did not mulch very well . But if mowed weekly maybe it would do better .
We are filming more tests hopefully tomorrow with different deck heights, batteries, rear bagging, etc.
Can you use the flex battery?
I do agree i wish dewalt would jus have done a flexvolt model instead of 2 20v batteries. I get it because not every1 has flexvolt so its more universal but they should offer both as an option but then again 2 10ah is more wh then even 1 12ah which is only 4ah at 60v so maybe runtime is the issue. Could do double flexvolt as an option and really offer great power and runtime. 120v mower. If im not mistaken ego self propelled come with 7.5ah while dewalt would only be able to offer 4ah so runtime could def be an issue with only 1 flexvolt
Tell you what though, those 2 batteries did my friend Ernie's 1/4 acre duplex lawn in 30 minutes and only used up one battery bar on each battery
Awaiting for 60v+60v gen3. I think it's too much of a battery temperature shutoff issue. or Milwaukee jumps to 60v with no flex volt.
When are you going to do your second review on the new Dewalt lawn mower ?Its Been three weeks since your first one.
I have it filmed, hoping this week!
Is the small battery icon below the battery compartment supposed to display the total battery level? It looks like a small LCD screen, but mine does nothing if I press it. Great video.
It only indicates green for good, red for dead
It only indicates green for good, red for dead
Great review and at 7:00 my 7 year old son got a laugh! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I thought I was the only one that heard it. Too funny
So I let a friend use mine to scalp his lawn but it was over 3-4” tall. He had the mower at lowest height & he choked out the motor by mowing to fast. Now my mower won’t start at all. Batteries are good & everything is cleaned. Any suggestions?
Bought the exact same unit and ended up returning it for the EGO 2135SP self propelled. A little bit more expensive than the Dewalt but worth it in my opinion as it has way more features like the easy access and fun to control self propelled control, simply height adjustments, dual blade, easy handle adjustments, retracting/telescopic handle, battery power and overall power, fast charger, ball bearing wheels, and much more. That flimsy speed control on the Dewalt is pathetic and toy-ish and the wobbliness or flexing of the handle where it connects to the deck it concerning for longevity. Come on Dewalt! Anyway, seeing and trying the Ego is believing and it appears really solidly built from what I can see so far. Also, this Ego feels more powerful than the 6.5hp Craftmans with Briggs engine I was coming from and which I used for the past 20 years. The self propelled is definitely faster too than the Craftsman. I really wanted to like the Dewalt mower as I have all Dewalt tools/batteries and wanted to switch to battery for a mower plus I have a Dewalt service centre near my place but I was disappointed with this new generation mower. Now that I reluctantly made the move to have two battery platforms, It's Dewalt for me for power tools and Ego for OPE. I had the Dewalt trimmer which I really Iiked and the blower which was not bad either but I ended up selling both due to how these companies get you with kitting. Now I have the Ego 650CFM, 180mph blower and their mulitool system with trimmer. Holy crap the blower is leagues above the Dewalt I had and the Trimmer too. I could literally stand on a skate board with the blower, turn the blower on, and start cruising down the street. This blower blew twigs out of the thick Kentucky bluegrass for me and more leafs from out the river rock than I was able to before. I still love my Dewalt tools though but was really hoping this was gonna be the year Dewalt came through on their OPE. Sadly it wasn't and now it's too late and its EGO for me for OPE.
Skateboard test is a great idea!
I've had Ego mowers for 5 years. Great mower. Every bit as good as my gas mowers I had before. Battery life is good, but the charge speed is much better than reported here, too.
Does the battery indictor on your mower work? I just got the new DCMWSP255U2 literally 2 hours ago and the battery indicator on the mower does nothing.
Do flexvolt batteries work on this mower?
@Jeff,,is the deck adjustable?
the height is adjustable both front and rear wheels, 6 selections on height
What mow height does the 1,2,3,4,5,6 settings correspond to?
I do not know I checked the owners manual and they don't even specify it. I just leave it on the highest setting because I like my grass tall and thick for maximum protection against the hot South Florida sun
I was impressed with mine I got the push model without the Self propel I would say the scenario I used it in was straight up abusive because I cut 3 plus foot tall Crab grass with it and it was Farley dense as well as was also cutting succulents plants as well I live in a desert so most of what I cut was weeds and crab grass and succulent plants and I was impressed it cut such thick dense tall grass.. the warning light came on when I washed the deck down and I noticed it had no protection from water intrusion for the battery compartment at all i did a large yard of weeds and 2 6ah flexvolt batteries i only used 1 bar on both batteries i am very impressed on the battery efficiency @Jeffostroff
IT lasted about 45 minute son my house, can mow the lawn twice
@@jeffostroff that's not bad yours is the self propel so I'm sure that feature cuts the battery down alot
I wanted to comment on the mower, but was distracted by how nice of a quality video this was. Only thing that would have made it better, a big spinning plate for the mower to sit on....lol. Thanks, Jeff.
I should see if my little turntable can handle the load
Can u add a dual blade?
It seems like you do more complaining then......just busting your chops. I love your reviews and opinions on all of these tools and products. You really look at things like the everyday consumer. Not once have I felt like you were "pushing" a product. When ever I need a new tool I go to see if you did a review. When ever my wife hears your voice and then I come around the corner she says "No, your not buying the new tool Jeff showed". Seriously, thanks for being one of the best channels for reviews and savings.
Thanks, glad to help out! You should have a garage full of tools by now with all the tools shown here.
@@jeffostroff Upgraded and ready for projects. lol
cordless..self propelled.. autonomous targeting and weapons systems
That's what I want to add to it!
Give it time
Dewalt has a quick charger that takes less than an hour to charge.. thanks for the review ✌
Yes the DCB118 I have a couple of them
@@jeffostroff yup
Watching your vid reminded me to put my batteries on the charge for tommorow, im diggin the electric stuff, just snap in a battery and go.. ✌
serious question.....do you prefer front drive or rear drive? Most mowers seem rear wheel and I lean to FWD. I am really hung up on the FWD/RWD question! I am looking to move into the electric self propelled and dump my gas mower.
I have heard people state that they prefer rear wheel drive, and I just simply don't have a way of testing which one appears to be more powerful. I rear as happy with my DeWalt mower with front wheel drive, as I am with my Ryobi mower that has the rear drive
Hey Jeff...this is the way 🥷
You know it!
Well for one the charges are a dcb107 witch is the lowest of the lowest of chargers they are the slowest on charging batteries. So if you want about a hour of charge time use a dcb115 and you want have to wait over night. The dcb115 is a fast charger
I also have the DCB118 charger
I have a very small lawn both front and back, both are relatively level, should I paid the extra 100 for the self propelled?
Mind you I haven't mowed a lawn in year, from a desert area
If it is level you can get away with a push mower, but if there is any incline you will craving the self-propelled
I think I will stick with my Honda with the two mulching blade look like it matches up the Leafs I give you a video of thumbs up but not so much the more
We already filmed the next video on comparing this to the Honda's mulching of leaves
Jeff, you have had this mower for about 1.5 years, what are your thoughts on this mower now? Maybe do a follow-up video. Most YT videos are done after a few weeks or a month of use at the most, be different and tell us if you would buy this again, after your 1.5 years of ownership? Are you actually using it or did you go back to your Honda powered mower?
I still love this mower but the Ryobi mower is actually a little bit more powerful in these self drive then the DeWalt mower is but I still use both of them I interchange them each time I Mow the lawn. I should work on a newer video for this
What does the red light on the mower indicate?
The only red light I see on the mower is the battery charge indicator so when it turns red it means your battery is discharged and usually them over will stop at that point and you need to recharge the battery
Been using this for a week now a d there's little trick you should know you can literally use it as push mower since is not that heavy to push and that the battery go from 60 minutes to 80 min also it easily choked on high grass about in about 5 ft tall but will still do the job just don't push it through if you cutting any grass higher than average about 2 to ft tall and never use self propelled when cutting anything within that range ,you can still use it as push mower and will do the work and save you a batter life .lastly if you doing cutting on a higher grass 2 to 5ft plz adjust the wheels to 5th level to avoid choking on grass and you should be fine .
Yikes, I never cut that high of grass. I keep my grass around 3 1/2" but try not to let it get over 7" before mowing it
Damn bro 5ft grass you gotta carry your girl to the house?
@@alexanderbarrera9140 wasn't around about that time but soon as I came back I knew shyt aba go down but I took it back for a refund the battery died quick so yeah it somehow cut the grass tho when I needed it
Have any trouble adjusting the speed? I turn the wheel and it just bounces back. I also noticed when I turned the wheel the outside cable moves at the same time. It's to bad they couldn't give us a real manual, one showing the breakdown of all the parts.
YEs their manual is not that great. I usually keep it at one speed
The self drive and the push one got the same power or no?
I assume the same motor for cutting yes.
Is it worth it now? Mine just died mid mow with fully charged batteries
This mower doesn't compare very well against the Ego lawnmower. Good video.
I would love to get my hands on nice high end EGO mower to test against this one
I don’t like the ego because it doesn’t have a side mulch on the deck. It has it on the back. Bad design.
Was there a test on actual total runtime on full charged batteries to empty?
No, I only used it for 30 minutes. I might try to use it over 2 or 3 cuts and see how it does
@@jeffostroff sounds good. Curious to see how long it can actually run for.
As mentioned, can you also maybe add some info on how well it bags?
You mentioned "why don't they design it so you can charge the batteries right here inside the mower?" That would have been counterproductive in two ways I can see:
1. Increased weight -> more weight to push
2. Increased weight -> Less battery life for mower self-propel
Still 100% agree with 60v preference, they are likely focusing on percentage of people with 20v investment vs 60v, but yes, I really, really wish they had the 60v model. I don't think I'll be buying a 20v model.
Bring on the Flexvolt!
Will the included batteries cut a 3/4 acre yard? Does this mover take the 60volt batteries?
In a second video we will experiment with Flexvolt batteries, and also with tiny 4 ah batteries, but should work with the 60V flexvolts, the batteries will act as 20V batteries. My friend's 1/4 acre used only one battery bar of 3. So I bet you'll get all of it.
one more question. So the dewalt lawnmower I bought comes with two 20v 10ah batteries. Does that mean that I have a 40 volt 20ah out put? I’ve been getting mixed comments on this saying you either get 40 volts at 10ah or 20 volts at 20ah.
@@chico130s If the batteries are in parallel then you will get 20 @ 20AH. If they work in series then you will get 40V @ 10AH. However, this mower is rated at 20V and not 40V so your answer is 20V @ 20AH :)
I know this video is from 9 months ago but just in case no one brought it up. Mulching on St Augustin grass isn't very easy to start with. The way it grows with its open above ground roots it's very hard to crate the vacuum needed to pull leaves out of the grass. That's why it did a good job on the surface. Electric mowers spen the blades slower to save power so this just makes it worse.
I own a lawn service in Jacksonville we used a Electric professional test mower last year for EX Mark and had the same issue.
yes, luckily leave season here is only a few weeks
Just bought my Dewalt Self Propel Mower. However, the wheels do not propel. Any suggestions? I'm having the darnedest time trying to figure out the issue.
The should, did you try the little control knob under the on off control? Look on the underbelly side of that yellow plastic for the thumbwheel, and adjust it with your thumb, see if that helps, make sure you are squeezing the 2 black handles, that is what enable sit. IF it still does not work, then make sure the cable from the plastic handles is connected onto the mower.
Didn’t seem like you had it set low. I usually cut mine at two inches. I would like to see how it cuts at the two inch setting. Thanks
Great suggestion!
@@jeffostroff Jeff this isn’t about the lawnmower. Just wanted to pass in at Lowe’s this morning I picked up the Craftsman 20v brushless hammer drill for 37.59. I also got the brushless 1/4 impact for 31.57!!!
Most companies use multiple sources these days. But at least it was assembled in America, unlike many brands that are produced and assembled in China.
I would wait for the next generation, many of the problems of this generation should be fixed.
Talk more about the speed control. The fast and slow of the wheels.
I want to do a second video that focuses more on that, and see how fast it moves it.
Or added a single speed charger. I’ve wondered same on batteries. Will it run with a single battery?
I will say the price is like buying two batteries and getting a free lawnmower
I should try to see if it runs on one
what kind of grass is that?
I'm a diehard DeWalt fan , But what in the world were they thinking not using the 60v battery ?
It’s on clearance at Home Depot!!!
Careful the unit I saw on sale was a push mower this week. IT was not self-propelled
How do you wash it with all the electronics?
I just hose around it real quick with the high pressure wand so that there's not a lot of water but it is under pressure. I focus mainly on the deck and the wheels. And don't really spray it on the body.
@@jeffostroff I just got mine and it did better than I expected. and yeah that’s what I was thinking. Just try to keep the water away from the electronics.
