B Movie - “Switch On Switch Off” (Sire) 1985

Written by Steve Hovington and Paul Statham. Produced by Stephen Stewart-Short.
The two writers here,Steve Hovington and Paul Statham helped form the group in 1979 in Mansfield in the English Midlands. After two mildly successful singles, “Remembrance Day” and “Nowhere Girl”, the group recorded their first album in 1985. Released on Sire it contained re-recordings of these two singles and “Switch On Switch Off”, which was released as a 45.
Alas, neither the album nor the 45 sold well and the group broke up.
