Porsche GT2 RS

Noch vor dem Launch des Modells erschien eine Abbildung davon auf dem Cover des Videospiels Forza Motorsport 7 - rechtzeitig zur E3 2017 in Los Angeles. Präsentiert wurde der 911 GT2 RS Typ 991 erstmals auf dem Goodwood Festival of Speed im Juni 2017.
Der 6-Zylinder-Biturbo-Boxermotor leistet 515 kW (700 PS) und beschleunigt das Fahrzeug in 2,8 Sekunden auf 100 km/h. Nach 8,3 s werden 200 km/h erreicht, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit beträgt 340 km/h. Der 991 GT2 RS galt als schnellster 911er seiner Zeit. Ermöglicht wurden diese Daten durch Leichtbau. Kotflügel, Front- und Heckdeckel sowie Heckflügel sind aus Kohlenstofffaserverstärktem Kunststoff gefertigt, Bug- und Heckteil aus Leichtbau-Polyurethan. Die Heck- und Seitenscheiben bestehen aus Leichtbauglas. Das Dach wurde aus Magnesium, der Endschalldämpfer aus Titan hergestellt.
Bei einem Basispreis von rund 285.000 € inkl. MwSt., musste der Käufer nochmal rund € 45.000 in die Extras des Weissach Pakets investieren, damit das Carbon Paket, Magnesiumfelgen, ein Liftsystem für die Vorderachse, ein Bose Soundsystem, ein Lichtpaket und Privacy Verglasung verbaut wurden. Mit diesem Paket, dem teuersten für das Modell, wurde stark auf die Gewichtsreduzierung geachtet. Rund 12.000 € waren fällig, wenn man dazu eine PTS (paint to sample) Wunschfarbe bestellen wollte.

Even before the launch of the model, an image of it appeared on the cover of the video game Forza Motorsport 7 - just in time for E3 2017 in Los Angeles. The 911 GT2 RS Type 991 was presented for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June 2017.
The 6-cylinder biturbo boxer engine produces 515 kW (700 hp) and accelerates the vehicle to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. After 8.3 s, 200 km/h are reached, the top speed is 340 km/h. The 991 GT2 RS was considered the fastest 911 of its time. These data were made possible by lightweight construction. The wings, front and rear lids as well as the rear wing are made of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic, while the front and rear sections are made of lightweight polyurethane. The rear and side windows are made of lightweight glass. The roof is made of magnesium, the rear silencer of titanium.
With a base price of around €285,000 including VAT, the buyer had to invest another €45,000 or so in the extras of the Weissach package, so that the carbon package, magnesium rims, a lift system for the front axle, a Bose sound system, a lighting package and privacy glazing were installed. With this package, the most expensive for the model, strong attention was paid to weight reduction. Around 12,000 € were due if you wanted to order a PTS (paint to sample) colour of your choice.
