That's going to be one heck of a roof system, should carry alot of snow n stand up to bad weather very well. You've both put alot of thought into this build,and doing it by yourselves says alot. Till next time thanks

@@dangoras9152 I am sure some people question our sanity in some of our build choices. These stepping stones in our process let us test things out and trial run through our build process. Everything is paying off and our build has had some major changes in appearance as the plan comes together.
@@TORAH-613 there are some “yurt style” house companies out there. Most of what they offer are factory kits that you finish to your liking. My life experience has provided skill and knowledge to built my own structure and located free of regulation.
@@SpencersMountain so you are building this from your head? In that youve measured out the size you want and are pretty much copying the yurt design? That is what I am planning on doing but the thing that i fear i may have problems with is the roof system. You and your wife are doing a good job to be at yalls age.

Is this house of your own design? Or did you buy a set of premade plans? Im wanting to build the same size but cannot find any plans for one.
