Today, we have a short video for you to tell you about my all-time favorite Jack Stands, and actually, the only jack stands that I use for my BMW, the ESCO 10498! What I love about these jack stands is that they feature a flat top that's PERFECT for BMWs and other European cars, but... they work perfectly with pinch welds and cars that need to be supported by the frame.

I got four Esco jack stands last year when I did the brakes on my 328. They are awesome; have never regretted spending the $ on them.
By the way. This was so spooky! Your body double almost fooled me into thinking it’s you!! Lol
I bought the Esco jack stands to do an oil change on my 06 525i. This was my 1st time under my car so I was a little nervous! I felt VERY safe with these! Highly recommended!!!
I have these, they are hands down the best jack stands available.
I also have a set of four myliftstand wheel stands which are also a fantastic product.

Aaron get the metric 1/4, 3/8, Allen head, torx, and e-torx from harbor freight and a set of wrenches. Get socket extension(I like wobble type) and angle extension. Get the pick tool set and plastic trim tools. Also a rubber mallet is useful. I’ve done most diy with that. For spark plugs get 14mm thin wall magnetic. For oil filter get the one from FCP euro.
As for jack, get the Daytona low profile long reach, it’s made in same factory as snap on (snap on sued for copyright since they’re the same) and get 4 of these stands.

They stand fairly high even on lowest setting for coupe and sedan cars, but look solid.
Get the ESCO 10499 stands instead. Same jacks, but have a lower profile.

I was wondering whether you can mike a video about the way one perfectly aligns the front bumper and bonnet gap on an F30. It is very difficult to make it perfect once some work has been done to the front.

Nice stands, but I don't understand why the jack pads are aluminum. They don't provide any grip/flexibility like rubber ones do. I don't like those.

hi question i plan to do a transmission fluid change i plan to use 4 jack stands my question is is it safe to start the car while on 4 jacks up ?
Ben Pero yes as long as floor is relatively flat. Many times people need to get in to press brake pedal, turn on engine etc. just be gentle and don’t slam door jerk car etc.
also give the car a gentle nudge once on stands to make sure it feels secure

They look sturdy but I’m a little concerned about all of the weight of the car being supported by those adjustment pins.
Plus, they are a little pricey but hey, it’s only our lives at stake here so if I believe in this product I’m willing to spend the extra money.
MOBROOKS each stand is rated for 3000lbs. More than a normal pair at Amazon Walmart etc. those are rated at 3000lbs a pair. These are 3000lbs each so 6000lbs a pair. So all 4 would be 12000lbs
@@dylan-nguyen each stand is rated at 3 tons, that's 6,000 lbs each totaling 24,000 lbs for a set of four.
