Hi I got the same head unit on my 370Z and had som me issues with the sound. They sent me an „audio box“ which made background noises a bit better but I can‘t turn the volume up that much … the sound with the original headunit was better I‘m very frustrated and NiftyCity doesn‘t seem to understand my problem. Did you or someone reading this have any similar issues?

everything above 60% is very very bad sound.... i am a little pissed because of this

Any radio protocols that work to control the a/c? My 2013 370 Nismo came with Xinbasi protocol but radio can't control the car a/c.

I have a 2016 Roadster Touring Sport. Will the steering wheel controls work with this? Also, with oem , the speaker output automatically changes when the top is up and when the top is down. Is that setting still available? Thanks.
Hello Albert, yes, all variations of the 370Z will work with our unit. That setting will not be available anymore.
Installed it in a 2013 touring roadster today. The steering wheel controls work fine but nothing else does 😂 I'm sure I did something wrong. My air conditioning is stuck on full blast. The car thinks the parking brake is always on. The airbags are disabled. Android auto won't connect. And the reverse camera won't work. BUT THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS WORK GREAT 👍

Hey Nelson! Thanks for the info. Yes, our Tesla screen can support your aftermarket amp and sub.
You have to purchase an additional harness. But it isn't expensive. Depending on your amp, you may also need a splitter, which nifty city does not supply. But you can get that for cheap from anywhere that sells car audio stuff. I'm installing my unit today. I'll comment back if I run into any problems. ✌️

Bought this unit, aucars tech support have been very crappy with me and selective on which of my msgs they answer. Biggest problem is my hvac controls, they work at first key cycle in the morning, but as im driving they go into a mind of their own. The ac button will stay on, blower stays on at one speed, then as this is happening, NONE of the hvac hard or soft controls will operate. The power to hvac controls wont even shut off until i cycle the key of my car to "off". They've sent two updates that i installed and those updates didnt do squat. Ive explained to these guys that the logic from the hvac board to the canbus seems to be corrupted, but they wont replace the entire unit until i send them this one back and wait a month for the transition time. All while i drive with a gaping hole in my dash and no tunes. Im at witts end with this thing. Nifty city, any ideas/suggestions? I did NOT purchase this unit from nifty city, just making that clear, so none of my issue has anything to do with them. Im just on here looking for aid because the company who makes all of these is not helping much.

I have the same problem, my climate will not turn off and only the right side for decreasing the temperature works as well as turning it up to blow harder. But I cannot turn it off.

Unfortunately not. You’ll need to connect our new cables. Sirius xm will be an app on the screen.

My 2015 base didnt come with a back up camera i guess thats something nissan added in the newer years.

I was in the same position and my installer said i ok nly get it in the rear view still because the car didn't originally have an infotainment system, so i can't get it in the screen. There's no wiring for it, so he couldn't hook it in.

I have a 2020 370z Nismo and my aircon did NOT use a Phillips screw to hold it in place. It uses a star fastener. So now I have to wait till tomorrow to get a set.
So just a warning to those with newer 370z you might want to check if you need a star driver. Luckily for a set it'll set you back only 6 to 12 dollars. Online. Buy a better set at auto zone for 18 dollars.

I just had this on mine, managed to wedge a flathead screwdriver in rather than using a star fastner
Don't worry brother if you like modding tech those Star bits will definitely come in handy again. It's rare but I've gotten use out of them replacing phone screens and fixing Nintendo controllers for my family in recent memory.
