Personally, I would use the Alijo 12n 2 speed for deep drop slow pitch jigging. It would hold about 670 yard PE 3 (30 pound braid) and it would be perfect for fishing around 1000ft of water. It is light enough and powerful enough for most bottom fish. Or, fill it up with PE 6 (65 pound test) and jig for tuna. The Alijo feels like a good quality reel like the Daiwa Saltiga 35 2 speed (which is what I use) for about half the price

All great applications- one reel can do so much
I was able to get 350 yards of 65 yards of tightline on the 12N. I think you could easily pack a full 400 yards of 50lb
Thx for the review guys I really enjoy them
More on the way!
I have slayed tons on tuna on the alijos 12.
Does the Alijos have lefty?
what line best for this reels ? for tuna
What scale are you using?
Amazon digital scale- I think crane is the brand name
How many meters in 50lbs??
Check the spec sheet, would not recommend 50lb on this small of a reel.
What # line would you recommend for tuna fishing?
@@SaltwaterGearReviewsdidn’t you just spool it with 50lb though!?
