Only negative with these reels is they heat up rather quickly(but only the accurates and avet trx have a significant edge in that department) since they're a standar leverdrag with 1 drag washer only, at the same time that makes them light, so unless you expect loads of line getting pulled at very high drag, they're absolute beasts, I love my sea 50W (personally aside from the small difference in weight I can't see a reason not to use a wide, I find it as easy or easier to lay the line but to each their own). I definitely love the 1:1 low gear, more companies should do that, as well as 3 speed reels, allowing for a super high high gear, a middle gear like an older single speed and an absolute winch, maybe as liw as 0.6:1 for the lowest gear
