I’ve seen Chas & Dave more times than I can remember and have had all the 12inch LP’s over the years. They say that that they never did encores, well they did for me at the Circus Tavern, Purfleet, where they came out immediately after the show to perform my request for ‘ I miss ya girl ‘ for my wife and I. It was beautiful and perfect as their performances always were so sadly missed. Let’s hope that Davey Boy and Chas’s family might try and keep the music going.
As a kid I only ever saw C&D as a novelty act and never appreciated what accomplished musicians they were. Then I discovered Albert Lee. Why have we got so much crap today?
Graham Davies Your not forced to watch, but since you thought you would give us your valued opinion, I’ll just say that these 3 guys - Chas, Dave and Albert Lee are some of the finest musicians to come out of the UK - you clearly are musically Illiterate, challenged, or as I suspect, probably both!
@@Pauls_Archive Chas used to be with the outlaws and I think Chris Farlowe and the THUNDERBIRDS and head hands and feet .He sure served his dues.As of course A Lee with latter 2 groups.
