Star Fox 64: Easy Venom Endgame + Bad Ending

- Get to this version of Vemon by beating Bolse.
Star Fox has to fly to Andross' base, plowing through any and all bogeys in their way. They eventually reach a temple of some sort, where a giant (robotic) golem finds them and attempts to run away. Shoot it's different body parts to wear it down, then finish it off by shooting the head.
When Star Fox reaches Andross' base, Fox decides to (literally) fly solo to Andross.
When you get to Andross, shoot his eyeballs to keep him from attacking you for a little bit, if he tries to eat you, feed him a Smart Bomb. If you don't have one, steer away from his mouth.
First, take out his hands, then shoot at his face. He should collapse into a very creepy, brain-exposed robot head. Dodge his charge and keep shooting him until he's gone for good.
CONGRATULATIONS! You just beat of of the game's endings. In this case it's the bad ending, which you'll know when you see Andross's face in the sky sometime after Star Fox flies off into the sunset.
General Pepper's reaction to Star Fox's bill can change depending on the total amount of hits you have by the end of the game. In this case, I've exceed his expectations. Hahaha...
One last thing. The initials "CPR" is really my real full name initials. I found it funny, too.

The Andross image at the end scared me as a kid more than the actual boss fight. Just the mysterious blurry image, the laugh, and the awkward silence. 😖

It made me feel despair
Andross' voice in Star Fox 64 sounded more demonic while the remake makes him sound less demonic yet more realistic.
To be fair he has been in a wrped dimension for a very long time, he is going to sound different.
I always preferred the way he sounded in this original game. It sounds evil, mysterious, and demonic all at the same time.
Will I find the voice acting in Star Fox 64 3D to be inferior in every way they should have never re-recorded The voice acting in Star Fox 64 was great and then they ruined it.

I remember my first playthough in this, once you get used to the hard route you never go back to bolse

I remember how happy I was to beat Andross... only to find it was just the fake one. Luckily, I found out how to get the real ending and felt wayyyy more accomplished than ever before.
Bad ending is worth it just to hear the awesome Venom music

Not only do you save the star system, tou get paid 66,368$ for downing 1,037 ships. That is really good, and I presume that the Cornerian dollar is worth a lot.

I think it's a great game design. without the different paths and endings the game would be too linear and dull.
Besides this ending is considered the bad ending because you destroy a fake version of him, merely a robot. and andross is still alive

Gee who could’ve POSSIBLY GUESSED!
It always pissed me off that despite how epic this stage was, it resulted in getting the bad ending.
Even though this was the easy part this felt really intense
Andross is still alive and still has the Macbeth Weapons Factory, that means the war effort of the Venomian Army and Navy is still intact, this would be like a bad ending for Return of the Jedi:
The Death Star II was completed and the Emperor and Vader are still alive, 3/4 of the Rebel Alliance fleet was destroyed at Endor, all systems in the Core and Mid Rim forever remained completely forever loyal to the Empire
Mon Cala was destroyed by the Death Star II, leaving the Rebel Alliance without a way to get ships, every system in the galaxy bowed down to the Galactic Empire, leaving the Empire in complete control of all systems
Or essentially the ending to Revenge of the Sith had the Original and far better trilogy never came out

It’s creepy when you go and everyone’s down on like venom or the venom where you fight star wolf, it makes you feel alone and that they died and your the last one to finish this.

Also we can assume that the Cornerian Fleet suffered several losses at Sector Y and could not backup Bill at Katina.
If you take the Hard path, get a medal at Sector Y you can see the Cornerian Fleet in the Mission Accomplished screen. We can assume that the fleet goes to Katina to help Bill and the Star Fox team proceed to Aqua

This andross scared the crap out of me as a kid
I always felt like the Venom from Area 6 (Venom 2) and the Venom from Bolse should've been swapped. Venom 2 just felt like a very anti-climactic build-up to me. Meanwhile, this actually felt like you're actually playing in the Venomian home ground, and they're gonna do whatever it takes to stop you. Sure, Area 6 gave everything it had to stop you, but I think if this Venom was the hard route one, it would've been even more epic

Than I guess the bad ending is the true ending because Andross comes back in Star Fox Adventures.

@@retrogamermax8287 No. You have to come through Area 6, which means you have to do most of the hard path to get there. Either beat Sector Z (don't let the missiles crash) or beat Macbeth (make sure the train hits the depot not destroy the boss)
Late, but the reason this is the bad ending is because you beat a fake Andross. The real one is still out there, and he's still dominating the Lylat system. You just did a bit of damage to his plans.

This is the ending I got when I last played it and that was over 7 years ago.

The bad ending feels a lot more like the original easy from Star Fox SNES. I mean, nowhere near as hard as the third path in SNES, but still a decent enough challenge, and fun. I like to go back to this version of Venom every now and then because of its traditional setup.

NO! All you need to do is start the game all over again to try and get the good ending!
yup, because since fox is in a video game, andross is not allowed to take over corneria unless the game adds a permanent bad ending, like a save file marking or dialogue changes

Damn I just came back on this after like 3 years of last coming back on this video. I used to be so into this game and at first very bad, but then I played like all the time and knew every secret and how to score lots of points, and since 2021 after not playing for so long because of my change in life interests, I’ve become pretty bad at it and forgot everything lmao

While Star Fox thinks they defeated Andross' decoy in Venom I, the real Andross was still alive in Venom 2!
You messed up the army, but killed a decoy. The real Andross lives to make another attempt to screw over the Lylat system in Adventures.
