1957 FORD FAIRLANE 500 Y BLOCK wrap up this round of work

in this video we are going to replace the carb, replace the intake gaskets and adjust the valves and do some test drives

Ford looks good, would like to see how you fix that parking pawl problem. I have the same problem in a 59 Ford. It will not hold the car in park and just makes a clicking sound. I was told this is common problem in the ford-o-matic as people would slam it into park before car was stopped.

I'm actually working on that repair now. Just ordered the part. This one has an aluminum 2 speed ford o matic from a different year. Video coming soon 👍
