Thanks for the video! Just had my CCC QJ Rebuilt by my coworkers for my 83 Recaro Trans Am. About to install it back into the car tomorrow and was curious on choke adjustments. Been watching your videos on and off for the last few months since I got the car! Appreciate you sharing your knowledge, as this is my first carbureted car!
Rebuilding the carb for a 75 Eldorado. This has an electric choke on it. I see that the rod that runs verticle behind it has 2 holes in the linkage, diagonal from each other. What would either higher or lower position do? Cant find any info on this
Ive been watching your videos since i got my grandfathers c10 earlier this year.It came with carburetor issues.I bought a rebuilt carb with matching numbers. It still seems to want to flood when i punch it.I cant figure it out.
@rporestorations I'm going to try readjusting the carburetor again. After watching more of your videos I'm pretty sure I did it wrong.I want to start by setting the idle but I don't have a Tachometer in the truck.Im either going to install one witch I'd rather not or get a tool to tell me the rpms.Your videos have been helpful.

What do you mean by flood? Is there a hesitation or bog when you floor it?
@rporestorations I just seen your reply. Its weird it didn't notify me so sorry for the delay. There is definitely a bog.
