Holy Crap! I was turning 30 & spinning at marginal Club Spots in Melbourne, Australia in 2007. I had been spinning for maybe 6 years at that point but could NOT do any decent x-fader techniques. Possible chirps & baby's but that was it. Was proud I played mostly Vinyl tho. No Traktor til last year. Don't play F all now tho & back home in NZ... Man I suck. Im talking to myself! So so so young, and what is the modern world today if not for all of our young peeps! (& getting younger!)
Just happened upon a Sara video and followed the trail to here. My introduction to scratch was bands like Portishead and all the trip hop I listened to, but I reckon scratch is also a visual experience, I’m honestly awed at what you do. Sara, get a channel and put everything on it, please.

I'm 11, started 10, I can nearly crab scratch, I can chirp, swirl, do clover tears, flares and that one when you REALLY quickly scratch, I'm not sure what it's called, basically really fast normal scratching.
