    Hey everyone I forgot to mention that the most important thing you can do is PRACTICE building coasters. You're going to learn the most by just doing it over and over again. Have fun everyone!

    I just got the game a few weeks ago (a bit late, I know!) and finding this has been an absolute lifesaver. I’m finally starting to make some cohesive looking coasters that don’t meander all over the place with tons of empty space and without purpose, banking my turns, making use of the Special parts tab and brakes, etc. Some of my coasters have 90-100% in both approval ratings by my guests now.
    I reference this video so many times, I thought it was about time I actually left a comment to say thank you. This is more fun I’ve has with the game than exploring everything was when I first started!

    • @215juliusgirl
      @215juliusgirl 2 месяца назад

      Same here this is maybe my 10th or 15th time watching. You’d think I could get the back of my coaster to just connect to the back of the track by now even if I use one of those swirly snake pieces to the left I’ll do another one to the right and that doesn’t help. My guests find my coasters very boring as well. And beyond coasters, I can’t figure out how to build things inside so often. I think it has something to do with the iOS version instead of windows.

    I hate it when the track touches the ground. IMO it should always be 5ft off the ground as no real coaster would ever just have its track lying on the ground, it would always have a bit of support underneath it.

    I like it when the train just makes it over the hill.
    If you drop 45ft on the first hill you can just make it back up 45ft to the same height if you increase chain speed to 7mph on the wooden coaster.

    My problem especially with wooden coasters is one that too intense and very very big and expensive but I guess that's just how that coaster works.

    • @jasond.b-w
      @jasond.b-w 10 месяцев назад

      It’s realistic. Woodies are one of the two BigTM attractions at most parks. They are obscenely expensive-especially to support and maintain-and they tend to cover a much grander scale than something like a single rail, so it all adds up extremely fast. Even some of the greats don’t end up paying for themselves in a meaningful way. Definitely a huge investment (and risk) for parks who want to have one.

    oh, there's few things, like a small turn like build can be taken at 59kmph (or about 36mph) just fine without having the "excessive lateral g's force" penality
    the medium unbanked can take at 99kmph/about 62mph
    and the large unbanked up to 130ish kmph
    the banked is the next value in the list, except the large one which can be taken at 200 kmph just alright

    So no matter how I make the coaster I’m having a issue. So I know about the breaks and everything but the problem I’m having is when I try to test out the ride it goes up a little then back down, it’s like not going up and getting enough speed. How do I make the roller coaster go up, it just won’t like I’ve made it all right as far as I know but it won’t go very far

    I really struggle with getting the right speed on Corkscrews (The inversion) as a decently good Coaster builder

    • @ClassicTycoon
      @ClassicTycoon  4 года назад +3

      The speed needs to be surprisingly slow on corkscrews or else you’ll get some high G forces! They can certainly be tricky to incorporate into your coasters! Keep building :)

    are there any positives to putting non-banked turns? like is it cheaper? or more turn options? I guess S-curves maybe qualify as non bank.

    • @lostinthewoods3918
      @lostinthewoods3918 3 года назад +1

      Unbanked turns can make sharper turns which is useful if you’re trying to connect tracks without overshooting it. I usually use unbanked turns when the coaster is going slow and I’m trying to navigate through tight spaces

    • @jasond.b-w
      @jasond.b-w 10 месяцев назад

      I sometimes end my coasters with a non-banked turn to the station, after the brakes have slowed it down enough, but that’s about it. My woodies are the only ones that I *only* use banked turns on. Some coasters don’t offer them as an option at all so they do serve a purpose. It’s just the best way to go while your coaster has speed so you don’t end up in the red before your first drop.
