Transforming the Space Marine Primaris Invader ATV: KITBASH

- It's not exactly a hot take to suggest that the Primaris Invader ATV has some... issues. The core of the model is sound in my opinion, but the Kart like design doesn't feel very Space Marine to me. So here's my take on the Space Marine Primaris Invader ATV. This is technically a kitbash, though it does require some scratchbuilding work, but it's pretty straightforward as far as Space Marine vehicles go.

I second that. The little animations and graphics are really nice. Somebody must have spent a lot of time and effort editing these videos.
GW sculpts have been on fire recently. When ever I look at this model I'm always just so surprised how this got through.
Historically GW vehicles for Spacemarines are always weird one can never forget the grey knight baby carrier

To each his own I guess. The original looks like a cool sturdy atv, yours looks like racecar with an identity crisis, hardly a good gun platform, much less off road.
But, while the vision doesnt jive for me, I appreciate the time and quality of the work, so nicely done with that part.

I'd argue the Desolation Squad, it's equally dumb, but also feels really lazy as well. With the ATV you can see the effort that went into the design at least.

Commentary and editing were absolutely spot on - lots of personality came through on this vid, 100% sub. If you can get your hands on one to "fix" you could stick with the theme and fix up an attack bike!

Yeah, that's WAY better than the Batman thing GW release. I just got over wanting any GW SM wheeled vehicles to look even vaguely fit for purpose.
I literally just pulled my partially painted ATV out with the intent to continue working on it when this video was suggested…now I am tempted to pull it apart and redo it in a similar manner. Thank you for sharing your work! Looking forward to seeing more!

To say it’s an improvement on the original is an understatement. GW have made some amazing vehicles over the years but the go kart was a complete disaster. Great job making it look like a military vehicle.

MEK is great for refilling old Tamiya bottles. That way you have a manageable amount on hand, a large amount in storage, and a brush!
