Just use a pool chlorine floating tablet dispenser. Shock the pond with some chlorine for now and maintain it with the floating tablet. You might use a pump to circulate the water for an afternoon to clear it up.
Dancing with what ya brought is just fine. Did a great job on that demo; must be real satisfying to accomplish another project on your slice of heaven.
Glad to see you working with your excavator! Removing that camper makes your entrance look so much better. Thankfully those yellow jackets didn't come after you.
G'day again from downunder Mike Nice little video to just keep us updated on what's going on. The pool will look fantastic when it's all finished and ill bet you'll enjoy a nice cold beer in there on a hot day
Nice work getting rid of that old camper. Definitely will be nice not seeing it when heading up your driveway. A friend left an old camper at my place years ago, long story short we finally ripped the thing apart (all hand tools 👎 to do the job) and hauled it to the dump. What a $H!t load of work that “ friend “ left for us.
Hey Mike thanks man. Yea that kinda sucks when you get stuff dumped on you. I bed that was a job. I've always got people offering me stuff, I almost always turn it down, I realized more stuff causes more stress most of the time.
I scrapped an old abandoned camp trailer on our property and got a good hunk of change from the aluminum. If you don't separate the Farris metal from the aluminum. You won't get as much in retur
My dad wasa a concrete guy and we used to demo allot of janky garages for people who wanted a new one and we'd pour their new concrete. We called it "mulching" a garage!
A lot of times I forget to put the blade down or I realize that I haven't dropped it enough, you will then see me reach over in frustration and put it the rest of the way down!
I LOVE videos with a grabby-crunchy thing! Wife thought I was eating a bag of chips..... And if you decide you want to upgrade your excavator, we could work out a deal for your existing one... I could use that bad boy!
Do you still have the picture of Andrew in your excavator? I had a framed photo of Norm Abrams a friend gave me back in the 90's that was on my desk until I moved three times. Still have it though. Always good to have a mentor to look up to and learn from. Keep plugging away, I moved into a vacant cottage in Ashtabula County on The Grand River 2yrs ago and the renovation progress is painfully slow. Love the videos, hopefully there will be more this fall as it is the best time of the year. 🍁
I need to print out another and get it laminated, the last one kinda got junked by moisture. Congrats on your move, sounds exciting. Thats pretty out there! I will be keeping a more regular video schedule.
Dude, you've got to put that picture of Andrew Camarata back up on the underside of the canopy. It was so funny that you did that originally. I mean laminate one if you have to.
Just make sure you clean the engine compartment out on that excavator from time to time and keep a fire extinguisher with you so you don’t burn yours up like Andrew C did with one of his.
You know what, I put them in my truck and keep forgetting to put them on. I will have to do that this trip, it's coming up on the 250 hour maintenance so that's a good time to do it.
@@50Acres i will tell you this...a couple i put on my tractor didn't fit with the lanyard attached so i cut it and trimmed the excess and then the cap would fit ...
Put some salt blocks out there they will hit those too but they seem to go for them more in the spring/summer. Once you put the corn 🌽 out it’s like they spread the word in the deer community. Nice to see that old camper finally gone .
A couple of years ago a friend of mine bought a piece of hunting property that had an old mobile home on it. He figured you could just haul it to the local landfill to get rid of it. NOPE! You have to tear it apart and put it in a dumpster.
Hi Mike, great to see you again. Do you think you increased the value of your "Air BNB" by re-locating it? lol. Greetings from Perth, West Australia. Cheers, Frank.
Yea, I had aspirations to save it but once I looked closer, I knew there was just no way. I tried to get people to come salvage parts off it but no takers.
Why do you choose to live based upon "circumstance?" Proverbs 3: 3-7 .....try.....practicing running your excavator with much less abrupt use of control!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That removal sure made your property more attractive and increase in value!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good work!!! Pray you are "well" ....... appears you are loosing weight.
I hope to get better as I practice more. I have about 150 hours of experience. I am losing weight but it is because I am cycling often. It's hard to keep the weight on.
I'd give 3 thumbs up on the removal of the creepy trailer if it was possible.
Good to see you back. Finally getting rid of the camper was a milestone. Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Its good to have it gone.
Just use a pool chlorine floating tablet dispenser. Shock the pond with some chlorine for now and maintain it with the floating tablet. You might use a pump to circulate the water for an afternoon to clear it up.
Looks a million better entrance thank you. Always enjoy all you’re videos.
Thanks 👍
Awesome! The creepy camper is gone!
Thanks Earl, Getting that thing out of there feels like a big accomplishment, I've been seeing it for so long.
Dancing with what ya brought is just fine. Did a great job on that demo; must be real satisfying to accomplish another project on your slice of heaven.
Thank you, it did feel good to get that done.
Glad to see you working with your excavator! Removing that camper makes your entrance look so much better. Thankfully those yellow jackets didn't come after you.
Thanks 👍
Glad to see your back - and having fun!
Thank you it's great to be back, trying to pace myself and keep at it at least once a month!
Your getting good with that machine Buddy.👍👍
Thanks 👍
Welcome back Mike! Always look forward to new videos!
Thanks Josh!
I don't usually listen to techno house music, but when I do it's usually when I'm watching 50 Acres & a Cabin. 👍🏼
Ha ha I know, I know, music, it's by far the hardest part of making videos.
Hooray, the camper is gone!! Looks great Mike! Hugs to you & the girls! 🤗
Thanks Wanda!
Nicely done. Really classes up the joint!
Thank you, we agree!
Good to see ya back bud,,I miss you ,your wife and family.
Thanks 👍
Wow… you’re BACK! SO EXCITED!
Thank you!
Awesome good to see you back my friend
Thank you good to be back.
Great to see you back!
Its great to be back!
Great job Mike. Getting rid of the camper was a big step toward making things look better. It was creepy!
Thank you!
The driveway ornament had seen better days! Good times 🎉
haha yea it was pretty gross.
It looks good.
Goodbye, shady camper!
adios!
G'day again from downunder Mike
Nice little video to just keep us updated on what's going on. The pool will look fantastic when it's all finished and ill bet you'll enjoy a nice cold beer in there on a hot day
Hello Brett, Good morning, the cold beer was great especially in Sarah's company!
Nice work getting rid of that old camper. Definitely will be nice not seeing it when heading up your driveway.

Hey Mike thanks man. Yea that kinda sucks when you get stuff dumped on you. I bed that was a job. I've always got people offering me stuff, I almost always turn it down, I realized more stuff causes more stress most of the time.
I thought you did remarkably well with the excavator and the debris 👍
Thank you! I am slowly getting better.
Great looking project well done. Thank you for sharing
Thank you!
Laughed out loud after the Archeologist comment...!!
haha!
That was pretty trick stacking the cinder blocks with the excavator. Your skills are obviously improving.
Thank you I am getting there!
Whohooo! - this everytime there's a Cabin and 50 acres video 🤗
Hope you enjoyed it!
Glad to see you back, I love your channel
Thanks its great to be back!
Майк, наконец с этим старым фургоном покончено, отличная работа. Отдельно отмечу, музыкальное оформление❤❤❤.
Awesome and outstanding
Thank you so much 😀
I scrapped an old abandoned camp trailer on our property and got a good hunk of change from the aluminum. If you don't separate the Farris metal from the aluminum. You won't get as much in retur
I just brought it over for my neighbor, I bet he is going to do that. He's pretty savvy guy.
Farewell, creepy camper! Congrats.
Great video.
Thank you!
THAT WAS AWESOME.
That looked like a ton of fun!
It was a good time!
Ottimo lavoro, ora sarà più bello l'ingresso della proprietà 👍👍💙💙
Grazie Mauro! Ciao
good use of time lapses on the camper
Thank you.
Howdy alway good checking in on you ! Have a great September
Thank you, have a great October!
Ah. A Sunday morning treat.
Hope you enjoyed!
OH MAN! ...You ruined it!..............Good job😀👍
Ha ha thanks! it was fun.
Thanks for sharing! Good to hear from you!
You bet!
The little trailer almost exploded. lol. The parking lot/turnaround looks a good size.
THanks John!
AWESOME PROGRESS!
Thanks!
My dad wasa a concrete guy and we used to demo allot of janky garages for people who wanted a new one and we'd pour their new concrete. We called it "mulching" a garage!
haha that's appropriate, you should see the pile of crap I just dumped for my neighbor to sort the metal.
Nice Job ! 👍👍👍
Thanks!
Nice job Mike
nice to see you again ❤
Thanks its good to be here!
Thanks for the efforts!
My pleasure!
Hey Mike 5 Star so far and I haven't even watched it yet😅. Time to turn the page 😅
Thank you Harold!
I must have checked an hour too early to see if you posted. Lucky Mikey to have an uncle who makes excavator videos for him.
Hi from Australia
Ha ha he is lucky, except now his two sisters are asking why im not making videos for them!
Andrew Camarata puts the blade at the back for more stability. Not rocking back and forth.
A lot of times I forget to put the blade down or I realize that I haven't dropped it enough, you will then see me reach over in frustration and put it the rest of the way down!
Going to miss that old camper! 😂😂😂
I LOVE videos with a grabby-crunchy thing! Wife thought I was eating a bag of chips..... And if you decide you want to upgrade your excavator, we could work out a deal for your existing one... I could use that bad boy!
I like this thing too much to get rid of it! Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice job Mike. I agree with you - I think it's time to upgrade to the 4-ton excavator (or the size above that). That's a need, not a want :p
haha start working on Sarah!
yes, your return is most welcome :)
Glad to be back!

THank you!

Yea I really do, I'm going to have to get it laminated.
Sorry to see it go. Glad to see it walk away.
End of an era!
Yellow jackets are bad all over. Amazing how that camper can fit in one load 😮. Looks a lot better 😊.
Yea, I surprised myself there fitting it.
Mike I hope you and Sarah are staying safe. I have seen the news about Springfield and it made me think of both of you.
lol we are fine and so are our pets! It’s a complete fabrication, everyone’s pets are a-ok.
Haha I’m glad to hear that!
Are you going to pile up some stone against the hillside cut to stop the hillside from falling into your turnaround?
I might, I'm going to see what happens over time. I think the stone would take up the same amount of space as the dirt slumping down.
Just make sure you clean the engine compartment out on that excavator from time to time and keep a fire extinguisher with you so you don’t burn yours up like Andrew C did with one of his.
Oh man yea I saw that, scary stuff, I could not absorb a hit like that, lucky for him he has the means to replace it.
i couldn't tell from the video, but i'm curious...did you put those grease zerk caps i sent you over each zerk???
You know what, I put them in my truck and keep forgetting to put them on. I will have to do that this trip, it's coming up on the 250 hour maintenance so that's a good time to do it.
@@50Acres i will tell you this...a couple i put on my tractor didn't fit with the lanyard attached so i cut it and trimmed the excess and then the cap would fit ...
Camper downright creepy. Horrifying that two kids lived there. Pray that they are ok and safe these days.
Yea, you're not kidding!
I was looking for a project like that.
It was good to get this one done.
Put some salt blocks out there they will hit those too but they seem to go for them more in the spring/summer. Once you put the corn 🌽 out it’s like they spread the word in the deer community. Nice to see that old camper finally gone .
We've got some salt blocks off over to the side, they go at them too!
You’re a do’er, I enjoy your content, thanks for sharing!
My pleasure, thank you!
A couple of years ago a friend of mine bought a piece of hunting property that had an old mobile home on it. He figured you could just haul it to the local landfill to get rid of it. NOPE! You have to tear it apart and put it in a dumpster.
Yea, it's actually quite a hassle, can be a deal breaker on land sales a lot of times.
Looks good! Hunting season is upon us!
We have some amazing deer on the trail cam, my brother in law is beside himself for archery season.
I miss more video this channel 😅
I'm trying to get back to the good old days of 1 video per week.
engagement
Ha ha thank you!
I’ll miss that eyesore
haha maybe a part of me will too, it was an oft referred to landmark.
HEY! Good morning !
Good morning!!!
@ 12:35 stacking the concrete blocks / don't sell yourself short / you may be an Andrew Camarata yet ? Kudos
Thank you, I am improving each time.
Hi Mike, great to see you again. Do you think you increased the value of your "Air BNB" by re-locating it? lol. Greetings from Perth, West Australia. Cheers, Frank.
Ha ha, probably increased the value of our property at least!!
Love your work, talent and channel, but you should have cleaned up that crap from the camper. Shame.!
Thank you so much!
Your littlt Scotty camper was a very populer compact travel trailer more than 50 years ago.
Yea, I had aspirations to save it but once I looked closer, I knew there was just no way. I tried to get people to come salvage parts off it but no takers.
Title sounds like a euphemism. 😅
Hope you get to your cabin more often for pleasure
Thank you me too!
lol watch your posture in that thing... doesnt look to good 😂
No it doesn't look great, I suppose I don't need to lean over to see.
I bet you breathed in a lot of mold doing that job
Yes it was gross.

Dang! I would have given you $500 for that camper. What a shame to see such a prize get trashed.
I offered it up in several previous videos, I was hopeful to give it away for free but never got any takers.
@@50Acres You should have listed it on Airbnb as "rustic camper nestled in woodsy surroundings, with intimate contact with natures little workers" :)
