One of the best songs of the 80's
Steve Vai with Diamond Dave priceless
Steve Vai was a beast 😊
Nobody mentioned Steve Vai.Dave is great but Steve made the track!!
Still puts a smile on my face after all these years.
Underrated album.
Back in 1988 this Song had quite some heavy rotation on MTV
Did you know he also became an EMT and went on over 2,000 ambulance runs in NYC . They need to put the guys statue up somewhere . Your state , mines too hung up on hillbilly music . Dam this song rocks !
My first rock concert was Dave on the Skyscraper tour, and Poison opened. Needless to say, it was awesome. RIP to my buddy Eddie Neff, who took me.
One of my favorite songs in Dave’s solo career..
Dave, Billy, and Steve - talk about a dream band! Still as head-bangin' as it was back in the day. Nothing like this anymore.
One of my favorite songs. You know it's a great tune when you don't want it to end...the groove, if you know.....
My toddler gets down so hard to this song. She doesn't quite have DLRs stage presence but she getting their!
Such chemistry in that band back in the day.
Brilliant song, love it
STEVE VAI'S RIFFS ARE FANTASTIC!
Still puts a smile on my face after all these years.
Dave one of the most prolific frontman in Rock
DLR = never disappoints. Diamond Dave
I loved playìng this song as a DJ at KDUP at the University of Portland in the spring of 1988. I remember following it with "Love Her Madly" by The Doors and "Power to the People" by John Lennon. I opened one of my Sunday shows with it, followed by "I Can't Help It" by Bananarama. I even played it after Brian Pelky's news report. Later I obtained a "show copy" with a picture sleeve (the one shown here), and I played it so that he could get some broadcast royalties for his birthday, before "Broken Things" by David Byrne. Thanks for having this, and for bringing back more great memories for me.
