[Verse]
I know that you don't know me very well
We've barely met but I can surely tell
No one will ever love you like I do
I like to feel the warm spot on your chair
Sometimes I drool and usually I stare
My precious one
I saved that gum that you threw in the garbage
[Chorus 1]
You're the one I dream about
But the only question with me now
Is, "Do I creep you out?"
Every time I shake your hand now
Wanna stick your fingers in my mouth
Well, do I creep you out?
[Bridge]
Call you every night and hang up
Gonna carve your name in my leg
In my leg, oh oh!
[Pre-Chorus]
Somethin' I should ask about
Can I sniff the pit stains on your blouse?
And do I creep you
Do I creep you out?
[Chorus 2]
(Your restraining order's out)
(Still the only question with me now)
Oh the only question
(Is, "Do I creep you out?")
Is "Do I creep you out?"
Know exactly where you live now
Follow you from work right to your house
Well, do I creep you out?
Do I creep you out?

I don't care after how many years it's been, him trying to shove her whole hand in his mouth still kills me everytime.
Makes me scratch me head.
Kira b like:
For me it was after he shoves her hand in his mouth asking do i creep you out.
LMAO 🤣🤣 Check my instrumental out that I made from this song 😂😂😂😂
😂😂
Can we appreciate how great Al's voice sounds in this song? Like, that note at 2:06 was PERFECT
i love it that Weird Al enunciates every lyric when he sings, even in live performances. That's why I have used two of his slow songs in my classes to practice the kids' English listening skills. It's a pretty fun experience for them!
It's also great for non-native English speakers, like me! His songs' lyrics are easy to understand, and fun to sing, too!
This is so true!! I have gone back and listened to some of the songs he has parodied which I hadn’t heard before. And honestly, I can’t understand some of the original lyrics. But I always get every word Weird Al is singing!
@@GumSkyloard until you listen to “word crimes.” It’s got some complex words.
@@JonwithnoH0823 I've listened to it a lot of times, and I love it.
Hope word crimes is one?
Idea. For a movie. Two stalker's fall in love without knowing they're stalking each other
Bad idea.
Sounds good
I fell like there is already n anime about that
I like it. I could write something like that.
@@toxicrubberducky there is a Web comic that matches exactly that.
This would normally cross every line in existence.
But since it's Weird Al...
LOL I KNOW!!!!!
Like when Weird Al makes a parody of some one it's fine and hilarious, but when Bart Baker makes one it's offense and rude!
+Katherine Vradenburg no it just kinda sucks
+Some Icelandic Dude Oh...
Well
Your opinion sorry if we don't share it. But o do respect you opinion unlike some people.
+Rosie Boo That's because bart baker makes cheap comedy. although a few are original, many just have the "artist" criticizing themselves in autotune. the only jokes are outfits and "randem" humor.
Al's songs have been funny, clever, and good natured since he started. He was 14 years old when his song was number 1 on the Dr Demento show.
It's funny how no one remembers "Do I Make You Proud" by Taylor Hicks, but most people remember this parody of the song over a decade after its release.
Probably because most people remember Weird Al more than Taylor Hicks. Hicks isn't really a big star, and that song of his was merely a one hit wonder. Weird Al is still pretty popular, so I guess it makes sense that he's remembered better. Just saying.
I haven't heard the original. One of these days I might
Who's Taylor Hicks?
@@jeremysiders5241 the fact you asked perfectly sums up it. Haha.. I didn't watch American idol, he went the way of sanjiya(sp?) , reuben Studdard, Katherine mcphee, bo bice, jordin sparks etc. In other words if you weren't living through the time and the ridiculous popularity and hysteria the show had when in school, you rightfully wouldn't even know who these people were. Really shows how fads fade into the sands of time and how quickly the people are forgotten in the collective consciousness.
Right? There are certain songs by even more popular artists that I hear their song start playing and get excited thinking it's a weird al song 😅
Most love songs have a stalker vibe to them anyway, this is when they're honest about it.
Check out the instrumental I made from this.. I sampled this song..
Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I'll be watching you
@@targard.quantumfrack6854 : There's a cover of this that makes it have less of just a desperate romantic vibe and more of an overt serial killer vibe.
@@targard.quantumfrack6854 funny thing is that was written as a stalker song, but everyone thinks it's a love song.
@@jeffcox6539 Interesting, do you have a link confirming that? On another note, I'm french and back in the days I didn't understand english, the song does indeed seems like a love song.
If you look at the paper in the beginning, it says "stalker on the prowl" and it shows his picture... seems he has a bit of history.
+Jon Gustafson The front page also says "The World is pretty crazy Another stalker strikes - ladies not safe". XD
It started innocently enough, when he was riding to work on the Jackson Park Express...
Thing I noticed is that the newspaper is called "JibJab Times"
Huh I didn't notice

This is going to be my wedding song.
Too soon to ask if it was?
@@bobs_toys Lol it's been 3 years probably not too soon, unless he hasn't found anybody and is saying if he has...

The best part is this song is essentially the same as The Police's "I'll Be Watching You".

Clearly one of those rare cases when the parody outperforms the original 20 times better. Weird Al actually gave a new meaning to the song and made it stand out. Way to go Al. You are a phenomenon in Hollywood.
Not rare when it’s weird Al
if stalkers had a country of their own, this would be their national anthem
"Ladies and gentlemen, please hide in the bushes for our national anthem!"
They do have an Anthem of their own and a country of their own however both our only in their minds!
Or every breath you take
Uh, you need to give a listen to the song "Gonna Get Close to You" by Queensryche. It's on the album "Rage For Order", from 1985 I think. I'm pretty sure it's creepier.
Another good stalker song :
Mx.Sinister by: I don't know how but they found me.
Every couple of years I rewatch this music video again and I keep being suprised that Alex Hirsch is in it. Every single time I'm like "WOAH IT'S ALEX HIRSCH"
Just heard the original at a wedding...and all I could hear was the Weird Al version😂😂😂
I’m always doing that. If I’m in a store, I’ll go down the aisles singing Weird Al’s lyrics.
Whats the original song
_gruff _m0dz do I make you proud
Because the weird Al version is far superior.
What is the original?
To answer that guy's question, he creeps me out a lot.
hell to the yes
I think it's romantic. I wish someone would go that far me. At least they show interest and don't lose interest quickly
For real.

I bought this CD when it first came out and I loved every song. Even now, the drum fill at 2:04 sounds epic, even if the song is about a stalker lmao
1:22 I love how the jar says "Eyelashes", but can also be read as "Eye\ashes", implying he might try to get those too.
For really old video, you have to admire how smooth and organic the movement of the animations are. Bravo.
The thing that creeps ME out is that these people have no necks.
Yeah lol, was thinking the same thing xD
Oversized heads.
That got me...

Willem Maas they do is just that you're looking at them from the wrong angle 1:02-10

Whenever the song this parodies came on at work, Id sing along with the lyrics of this one instead. I got wierd looks from people.
I'd be laughing too hard to work
I tend to do that with a lot of Weird AL songs. :-)
I do that with most songs that Weird Al has parodied.
I sure as heck do, @@stephenrose8300.
What is this a parody of?
Every breath you take,
And every move you make
Every bond you break,

Every game you play,
Every night you stay,

EvilPlagueDoctor OK that made not one lick of sense try again
.... this guy's name is Bill Lupin... I'm just guessing here but I think this person may have a thing for the werewolves in Harry Potter.
And I thought 'Every Breath You Take' was the universal stalker song. Mr. Yankovic, you have outdone yourself.
The song's called "Every Breath You Take." Get the title right.

I love Weird Al! He's great when you're down and out lol.
I like how Weird Al's character in this song starts off by reading a story in the newspaper about himself.
Thank you Weird Al, for yet another masterpiece.
Before there was an overly attached girlfriend, there was this.

steven universe is pretty good
Leopararouen Adventure time, Steven universe, Gravity falls, One Punch Man, The loud house, Uncle Grandpa (Though that one is more out of spite).
I have a cousin who actually did carve the name of the dude she liked in her leg once. Seriously fucked up lol.

Takaithepanda totally legit...yup.
Same thing happened to me. It's so fucked.
kagenotatsumaki Hmmmmkay sounds totally normal to me :-)

I die laughing every time I hear "know exactly where you live now."
The kind of behavior that scores 12/10 on the creepy scale.
He has an amazing voice! Love it.
My first time hearing this song was at Anime Expo, years ago, in a video about Light and L from Death Note.
It was the funniest thing i'd ever seen in years. The entire audience was dying in laughter.
people are actually this fucking crazy XD.
I love your Username and picture selection.
I lost it at the end when he was singing this song in prison and the Big Bubba dude jumps on stage and gives him a loving look. 😆 lol. Who's creeped out now?
Weird Al is just such a great singer! ^^ I always love his songs.
Don't you just love when some random person walks up to you and shows you a carving of your name in their leg? I sure do
Debbie's reaction to seeing her name carved into his leg [1:50] kills me every time.
Stumbled across this one by accident then couldn't get enough of it. You're a funny man Al keep em coming.
My favorite line of the entire song is when he says I know exactly where you live now followed you from work back to your house

Blessed comment, fellow animation geek. ;)
This video proves Weird Al should've won at least one season of American Idol.
The 151 people who put thumbs down creep women out and think its normal behaviour
It's a mean music video. You feel sorry for this guy and don't want to see him beaten up by the cops and raped in jail. All you insensitive people need to grow hearts and be forbidden to divorce, Consumerist goons.
Kevin Gordon I think your taking a Parody Song way too seriously.
@@kevingordon2629 found the stalker
Kevin Gordon why???😂
@@kevingordon2629 grammatically speaking, I don't think you get to call us something both at the end and beginning of a sentence. You should have made us insensitive consumerist goons at either beginning or end.
Awww, he fond love in the end :)
I love this song! The funny thing is that some loving couples actually do CREEPIER things to one another than anything mentioned in this song such as licking whipped cream off each other's body.
This would be the perfect song to put in a stalkerish greeting card you send to somebody you want to creep out ( and without signing )
Omg I almost peed my pants!! Genius Al, as always! My fave part is toward the end of the video when he’s in the lineup waving at her like crazy 🤪 👋 Good lord, that’s when I died 💀
i read your comment prior to that part and it still dropped me to the floor!
@@levisguy53 oh sorry! I should probably re-phrase that, I don’t want to spoil it for other ppl. I’m glad tho that you STILL laughed at that part after reading my comment! Still a better love story than Twilight.

Good old alex
Holy crap, you're right!
This is the song that got my wife hooked on Al. Lol. Love you babe!!
Reminds me of Every Breath You Take by The Police
You mean that super "romantic" STALKER ANTHEM from the 80's? Haha.
Not Stalker Anthem actually. It's a song about cops doing a stakeout.
I think it was Tay Tay, You Belong With Me
But funnier! :D
the lack of necks in this video creeps me out
This song always makes me laugh so hard. Mostly because my name is Debbie and that is the name he carves in his leg.
Yes, Al, you're creepin me out especially them caterpillars on your face haha.
I've been listening to Al since I've been alive. I'm 34 and I regret nothing. Love ya Al and fam 💖
Forget caterpillars he's got giant millipedes where his eyebrows should be
We need an animated movie with this style of animation.
There was a TV series named "Angela Anaconda" that used this style of animation.
Al looks like a demented cross between Jay Leno and Alfred Molina in this video...
I love this animation
thought it was Jay Leno.
*****
oooooh. xD
Same thought here lol
I thought it looked more like Craig Ferguson.
he's making fun of an the early American winner. he had sliver hair.
I think it looks like Michael Cohen.
Why does he look like George Clooney in this video?
He's meant to look like Taylor Hicks.
***** He looks more like Craig Ferguson
LoneWolfGamer Looks nothing like him
Who is Taylor Hicks and why is he famous?
Taryn Blake he's a singer, and in particular he's the singer who made a song called "Do I Make You Proud" which this song parodies.
1:23 is that the same telescope he used to spy on Melanie?
This man always makes me smile!
His waving to her in the line-up was strangely wholesome.
My friend's son had this as the first dance song at his wedding. 🥰
Alex Hirsch at 2:25! he's to the right, next to the fellow in red that HAPPENS to have a Grunkle Stan build.
When I hear the original song at work I sing along to these lyrics lol
Most romantic song ever. Even better than my heart will go on
So hard to find this kind of devotion these days.
Clever - the bit we're he's watching her with the telescope while she's reaching for the soap is a reference to his earlier song "Melanie". Al, you never cease to impress.
I have to admit, the animation is pretty good.
except for the lack of anti-aliasing: poor job of texture filtering results in features with high spatial frequencies aliasing, or, if you don't grok computer graphics and signal processing lingo, notice how his hair shimmers unnaturally when moving
@@paulheckbert I feel like that's more of an editing mistake than an animation mistake. The animation itself is still very fluid and expressive imo
Can you imagine how long it took for weird al to make all those faces.
Not very?
There was a jukebox machine that allowed you to make your own music videos. From that I figure, you would have the machine take multiple pictures of your face from various angles with various expressions. Then it would superimpose your faces on to characters in a pre-existing video, such as "Venus" by Bananarama. Some of them were very funny.
As much as I love the original, this is surely a classic.
The facial expressions in this video are gold. XD
Whoever animated this is awesome
Song should have been formally dedicated to all the Debbies out there :)
Searched for months for the right song to play to my "friend" at Trader Joe's.
Mission accomplished.
man Weird Al looks different when he doesn't have long hair

Holy god. I never noticed.
Alex Hirsch is actually quite a bit younger-looking than the guy in the video looked
