I'm so insecure about my singing, and when one of my friends tease me while they're watching American Idol and I'm upstairs in my room singing (what I thought wasn't loud) he yelled up the stairs "I'm gonna have to say no! Come back next year!" and even though I knew he was kidding, it still hit something because I feel like I can never hit the right notes or remember the correct lyrics and I feel so self-conscious and it makes tears well up in my eyes and I try to blink them away and they won't leave so I have to brush them away and ugh feelings are stupid.
