Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 10 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. I think sometimes having your own business is too much....the responsibility and costs...and lately with increases....and Susan always said how hard it was she has been so open about that....but someone once told me that if you break the word disease into two....it reads dis...ease. I think although nobody has the answers our bodies get put threw alot of hard work and stress and it's a concern as to our future good health.

It is not late onset bipolar….you are grieving over your Mom’s devastating illness. So blessed to be surrounded with so much love and joy in times of sadness.
This is also the stress of her mom's cancer also leaving her children especially Laila and the growing business behind. But she is blessed with a loving understanding husband and a great trusting nanny who turned into a great friend and family member, beautiful Nam. The Lord set this all in place for you so you could take time to visit and help your family, Lily. The Lord works in mysterioys ways and everything through Him is possible..even a miracle of healing so never give up...Amen❤😊

Lilly I don't think it's bipolar, when I 1st found out my dad had lung cancer, and was told it's it's matter of quality over quantity and daddy stopped treatment to have quality..I started pushing away from him because I was scared, I didn't want to see my dad go through that & see him pass.. I didn't even realize I was doing that until one day daddy said " sissy what I have isn't contagious " it broke me so down. Cancer is emotional and scary, you got your babies across country and your mom thousands of miles the other way. Your are being torn.. praying for your family, sending GiGi so much love and prayers.. ❤❤

Praying for your mom xx My mom passed from lung cancer on June 5th after 3 years fighting. The stopped treatments and said I have no more fight left in me. She said .. we had over 2 years longer than the doctors thought I would have and that was a great gift.

To answer your question - based on my experience with my mother having cancer it is soooo hard to see our loved ones suffer but as a daughter and a caretaker it is also so painful and hard. I don't think the pain and suffering of the patient and family can be compared. I feel your pain. Sending love, light, energy, reminders for self care, and healing for Gigi!

What you're going through is a type of grieving. It's not easy. I went through it with both of my parents. My dad died because of strokes. My mom died because of cancer. She fought hard, but God called her home. I still have times when I miss her so much. It's only been 16 months.

Thank you for sharing this. I’ve checked everyday for some news. I’m from Houston. I’ve walked those halls at MD Anderson and sat for hours on end with my mom when she had lung cancer. It’s a sad hospital but there are good people there. I couldn’t let my mom see me cry so I would hold it in and I burst out crying in the elevator. A man in the elevator prayed for my mom and me. There were people there who understood and were going though the same thing. I ‘ve prayed for your mom. Seeing her on your videos makes us feel we know her. To know this has happened makes us feel it’s one of our family members. Watching you and all your family makes us feel we know them all. Your family is the best. God gave you a great husband with beautiful children. I will continue to pray for your mom and you and the rest of your family. Much love.❤

Hello there Lilly I’m from the uk , my dad sadly passed away from brain cancer but I feel very blessed that I had the time to tell him how much I loved him and he is my hero , memories I hold close to my heart , my mum passed a year later in lock down in covid , she was a victim of that happened so quick I feel cheated not to be with her and not having the chance to say goodbye , devastated don’t come close the pain from both of there passing is Undescribable , but with my dad I got to tell him how I felt but mum I didn’t, bless you I feel your pain , your such amazing daughter and your mum knows that , memories are everything and more , all my love Cheryl from uk 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
I know what you mean Lilly, when you say that caregivers suffer too. I did palliative care for my mother then almost 10 years later for her sister, my aunt. Not to deny the suffering of those with cancer or any other serious illness, but the caregivers can and do suffer alongside those they are caring for. Please remember to take care of yourself also… your family needs you. 🙏🇨🇦

I know it's hard knowing that a loved one is facing such a difficult reality but continue to look to the one who has been with you from your first breath and has kept you through many difficult situations in the past. Lilly, it is a painful and desperate feeling as a caregiver/family. My mom had a massive stroke that left her a fragile scared woman, never did I want to lose her, but when the Lord welcomed her it was a relief I think for everyone including her 🥺 I feel and know that no matter your mom's path, she will be ok. Don't give up. I had renal cell carcinoma in 2017. I have no cancer anymore. It's not the same as brain cancer, but they're developing new treatments practically every day.

Let me just say that a few years ago, I was watching different vlogs about Thailand because I wanted to visit/fell in love with the country, I rarely subscribe to channels unless I thoroughly enjoy their content, I remember seeing your videos for the first time; it featured your mom in Bangkok, and she was the reason why I subscribed and fell in love with your family, prayers for a speedy recovery, you all got this. 💪
I have three kids, two are boys and my oldest is Hannah Rose living in Thailand for a couple of years teaching preschool. We both have Roses as only daughters. Leon and Luke remind me so much of my boys at that age!

Being a caregiver is extremely hard especially when it comes to our loved one's. That being said; my mother passed on November of last year and everything happened so quickly that I didn't have time to get to her this time around on time before she passed and I would had taken that burden instead and to have been there when she did. Remember that any feelings that you feel are valid and human. Be graceful with yourself. Prayers up for Gigi and the fam.

I just went back from Bangkok to the U.S. with my only son. My mother is living in Thailand and she looks a lot older than the last 4 years that I met her. I heard your mom is sick now and I want to pray for her. Living far away is not easy. Hope everything is going well. God bless you and your family.
In January I had a 7hr 45 minute abdominal surgery. The initial surgery was because of Non Hodgkin Lymphoma coming back for the 3rd time. I’m doing infusions and a capsule which is Revlimid for 21 days and 7 days off for the next 2 years.
Gigi, can do this. It’s no walk in the park but with God on our side all things are possible. Sending love and prayers for all of you❤
