  • Lisbon became my latest birding haven. During my three-day trip to Portugal, a highlight was my visit to the EVOA - Tagus Estuary Birdwatching and Conservation Area. To my delight, I found myself alone amidst the tranquil surroundings. There were only the birds and me - no other tourists. The nature reserve is located in the heart of acres of rice fields, creating an attractive habitat for various bird species.
Despite the arid climate and landscape, I managed to capture photographs of new species of water birds. Additionally, I had unforgettable interactions with majestic birds of prey - I'd appreciate help in identifying these.
Looking ahead, I aim to revisit this nature reserve during a different season. I have heard that the fall season brings about an abundance of owls hunting in this area.
    Thank you for watching!
