    I had Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC in 2017. I had stage 4 appendix cancer, LAMN. I had many organs removed with a 12 1/2 hour surgery, 21 days in the hospital and a long recovery, but I have been cancer free since. It saved my life.

      Goodness, proposter Paul, the hypocrite, who sells whiny videos to elder women? His cancer journey must be told to the world. He has such a "great message". He needs subs for money, that's it. Yes, he has cancer. But he is such an egocentric childish cry baby, who needs constant attention. He's a homosexual former drug addict, but he will not tell to his fangirls. He's never been a teacher. Now, he is telling to his fans, next Friday he's having his pet scan, subscribe, subscribe, subscribe. Everyone wants to know the results, yeah, pet scan, the wonder word for cancer vloggers. He's selling emotions to his devoted subs, mainly naive women.

      @@dontfckwithspiders5684 Why you all have such false parasocial relationships on RUclips? Paul, he wants subs, that's all. Most cancer vloggers play this game. He cries like a baby, melting hearts of naive elder women.
      Why going on RUclips? He says, he has a message. What message? It's cancer entertainment. It's all about money.

    In view of the high morbidity and subtle mortality there is a need to select patients who would benefit from HIPEC with the help of a genomic sequencing.

    Is it possible to offer HIPEC post de-bulking surgery as a separate treatment? I am 3 months post de-bulking surgery and with no lymphatic or thoracic involvement.. I had 3 chemo treatments prior to surgery- and 3 post surgery, just completed. My NHS surgeon did not think HIPEC was a curative treatment. Am i entitled to get a 2nd opinion on the NHS and be reffered to you ?

  • @Steve-pl4dz
    @Steve-pl4dz 2 года назад +4

    Unfortunately this should have been performed on my Mom when she first got diagnosed in 2010, but traditional chemotherapy was the treatment of choice. By the time HIPEC was recommended it was too late to perform the procedure as the cancer has spread and attached to the small intestines. Very few places and doctors could perform this surgery at the time (2010-11) and CTCA Chicago was the one we found and chose. Again it was far too late and the cancer far too advanced for this procedure to be an option. I firmly believe if this was done at the time of her diagnosis, she would still be here today but we lost her 12-20-2011.

      Lorraine, you need to find better doctors. There are medicines and doses that are appropriate for ANY age. My father was completely cured of Hodgkin's disease, at age 86, with a targeted therapy, that was dosed appropriately for his age. He had no side effects.
