I love Cruella in OUAT so much. It's such a nice change of pace for the show. It feels a need to make every single villain redeemable or at very least makes us understand why they turned out the way they did. And then Cruella comes out like "Nah, I just like killing people."

Some say that she wanted the author dead as her happy ending, but I think she is completely trapped in the darkness of own her mind, she wouldn't know what happiness is. She embraced the eternal darkness where there is no light, no redemption, no way out to even see the light. Her heart is completely black, unlike Rumple who still has that tiny fraction of red still beating for Belle.

Something about the lightning flashing behind her as she stares at Isaac with those cold, empty eyes just sends chills up my spine. Victoria Smurfitt's naturally pale skin and cheekbones certainly help. 😄
Victoria, like Lana, is very good at managing to persuade us that she’s younger in flashback scenes just through a change of wardrobe/makeup. So good 😍

You're right, it's a huge irony that a human who wasn't magical and only had a magic cigarette (Cruella) turned out to be more evil than 2 magical beings (an former mermaid with tentacles (Ursula) and a draconic fairy (Maleficent) who even though those 2 were evil, they redeemed themselves)

That half- season may have done a rather poor job with Ursula, but they made up for it tenfold with how they handled Cruella! I always viewed her in the past as rather ridiculous compared to other Disney villains, but here, hoo boy! They made her genuinely terrifying. Her story in this episode unfolds like a well- done horror film.

But they wanted to turn her into a antihero with vegan coats so that the public likes the character despite her “evilness”. The result ? Yeah I would keep them. I think that as her mother used them as control element for her she ended up hating them too and killed them as a revenge for all those years of suffering. And well she is a psychopath who enjoys killing, but I as we have seen the dogs in the episode where she mets the other queens I supposed that they were the same dogs it was a surprise a nasty for me that she skinned them :( And also we supposed to believe that she killed her father, but they didn't explain the motives.

They never made it clear in the show but since Issac's car is magical and can travel through realms and Cruella stole it from him, I'm guessing she used the car to explore different realms and that's what led her to the Enchanted Forest

Cruella isn’t from the real world she’s from a realm where it was stuck in the 1940s
They never made it clear in the show but since Issac's car is magical and can travel through realms and Cruella stole it from him, I'm guessing she used the car to explore different realms and that's what led her to the Enchanted Forest
