Vlog: Lots of updates! Becoming a full-time blogger, that'll mean more time for YT videos too! We'll also check out the Annual Plant Expo at the Maui Mall, and an update on our Monarch butterflies... So far we've raised and released 173 Monarch butterflies!

I love that you're raising butterflies! The butterfly population is dwindling because of all the Roundup (glyphosate) that's used on GMO crops and killing the milkweed. Good for you for helping protect these beautiful creatures! xoxo
I am thrilled that you will be making more video's and blogging.. It must have been a big decision to leave the swap meet.. However, you can always visit.....And just as the caterpillars become butterflies. the transformation is required for growth into something even more enchanting. Best wishes on the new chapter... I will be watching and reading..

In South Florida my neighbors and I have been planting butterfly friendly plants for decades. We have boughanvillia, passion flower vines, pentas, and something with pretty purple flowers. All stages of butterfly live cycle are covered by our collections. I love looking out my window to see them flying (dancing) around. It makes me happy. We have a small pond also. Lots of frogs and a Cardinal that plays with my cats through the window. You and Michael are doing a great job supporting your butterflies!!!

Christine I just wanted to share with you how motivated you've made me! Your recipes have opened my eyes to continue on the path of healthy eating. I don't think I could totally go vegan or vegetarian but I can definitely go meatless a couple of days a week.
Also, after watching your most recent makeup purge so you can go cruelty free has really inspired me and my roommate to do the same. We've set guidelines and started research on companies, starting with makeup and moving into health and beauty as well as household cleaning and beyond.

Hi, just wanted to share with you .. I made the "vegetarian" switch a long time ago and it's really not as hard as you may think. Meat is not generally something you crave, it's more than likely the meat related dish that you crave say a bolegnaise or a burger etc etc , but these can easily be changed into meatless dishes 😄 What I find hard is the "vegan" it's so hard knowing what to look for in each product. I am making the change slowly.. I have already made it in my beauty products and make up etc 😄 Good on you for wanting to make the switch 😄 Christine's vids are so helpful 😄

What good timing that I decided to watch this video this morning and found out you won't be at the swap meets any more. I'm leaving for Maui in a couple of hours. The first time I saw your videos were when you made 3 videos about organising your huge at that time make up collection. And been fallowing your transformation from that person to whom you are becoming.
I would just say that I glad that you can reconnect with what you believe in and with your passion. We all can have moment in our life's where we think what the hell I am doing with my life but i think that you did the right thing and focusing on video and blogging, because you do actually inspire. For example with your video about cruelty-free makeup I never though about it before you mentioned it and it really did change my aspect.

Hi Christine, I just started watching your videos. I live in Oahu so it's interesting seeing your perspective on living in Hawaii but on a different island. Love your Costco hauls bc that is the only way to get by here (especially if you buy organic)! We absolutely love living here. I have so many thriving tropical plants in our garden and in our home, thanks to inspiration from your videos.
