Sometime in parts or when I skip to a different part, they change pitches. Then later, there is no pitch change. Just the original pitched music. I'll probably just stick to both soundtracks being separate

For example, the ost version of tenebre has a piano layer playing during heavy parts of the track too, in this video that'd be the 1:20 part. Maybe that's why you feel weird about it, because you are simply used to listening to the original version.
