Conor McGregor once mocked Khabib Nurmagomedov for not drinking alcohol, highlighting a cultural difference between them. McGregor, known for his brash personality and party lifestyle, often uses personal jabs to provoke his opponents, while Khabib adheres to a more disciplined lifestyle rooted in his Islamic beliefs, which typically discourage alcohol consumptions.
Very misleading report. She was asking for over a million, got about 20 percent of it becuase the jury clearly didn´t believe her story fully. The significant difference between this is not ananomity, it is the fact the jury don´t have to be convinced the story is fully true, just "might" have happened. A lot of reasons for the DPPs decision not to prosecute was not allowed as evidence, and some witnesses were not heard. It is outrageous that for such a crime claimed such a low threshold of "probability" can be used. The jury was 8 women and 4 men, which seems rather unbalanced. There was CCTV, text messages and three witnesses who directly contradicted the evidence of Hand. Probably haven´t seen the end of it.
In a civil case the onus of proof is on the plaintiff to prove their case on a balance of probabilities. In a criminal case the prosecution must prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. She won the case therefore the jury believed he was liable.
Not "might" have happened... they have to believe it's the most likely thing to have happened. Basically they heard the whole story... even the things that made her look bad (the CCTV and text messages) and they still thought she was more believable.
@amandadublin3129 this is the balance of probabilities, which is a terrible concept for important legal decisions. In reality, as I said, it is in fact "might" as the jury gave only about 20% of what was being asked for, so please explain how this can be happen if they believe her story? They think something happened but not what was claimed. If you were to look at this case mathematically, the woman was asking for at least €1m, and got 25%, so they essentially found McGregor 25% guilty yet 75% innocent/unproven. Believe me, the complainant was not thinking she was getting any money from Lawrence, so the whole figure requested is indeed due to McGregor's perceived role by the jury. Had it been "beyond reasonable doubt" you'd probably have an innocent verdict. You might think this is trivial until it effects you, where you can be found culpable for something there is literally no physical shred of evidence to link to you as a person. Despite this verdict, there is a massive question mark over when and how the bruises were suffered. The given story is clearly nonsense however the jury had to accept the fact the woman was injured and she was angry at him. They based their verdict on the fact the woman clearly had a lot of problems and had pinpointed McGregor as the issue. However he is the only one who has money, so it would make a lot more sense to blame him than lets say, someone with a motive to be very angry but without any money.
and your evidence for that is exactly what? Were you in court everyday and listened to all the evidence given? Seems those who were (the jury) don't agree with your opinion and TBH that's all the matters.
He won’t go to prison because after criminal charges were pursued, the police threw it out knowing it’s a waste of time - losing case. The people commenting really need to look at the evidence which has huge red flags all over it and learn the difference between criminal and civil court. The ignorance is astounding.
She had enough evidence to win a civil case. It is much more difficult in a criminal case. That doesn't mean the police were correct in their assessment. A civil case is valid. According to the civil case, he violently assaulted her. What part of that aren't you understanding?

What i find pathetic is people commenting online when they havent been in a position to see all the evidence and notwithstanding a fair trial was held and desipite this mans money and influence are still in denial about the outcome.
No it doesn't. Maybe for you. Look at the number of unreported rapes and then reported rapes which result in criminal prosecution or conviction especially going back since perhaps the numbers have increased a little since it was scandalised for being woefully low recently. Additionally a quick look at the man's proclivity towards violent, impulsive, entitled conduct would support her assertions as the jury found after evidence of this specific incident (because not all violent men are rapists).
In a civil Court you lose if you don't show up. You literally have to prove your innocence. You do not have presumed innocence and you do not have to be proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
Considering almost all women you have ever met have been sexually assaulted, the odds that you are wrong about every woman you think is lying, is high. Fortunately, it wasn't up to you to determine the facts. The civil court ruled on the facts. It is very difficult to win such cases, and she did.

Money grab. She wants to ‘tank’ conor for the payday
and your evidence for that is exactly what? Were you in court everyday and listened to all the evidence given?
Seems those who were (the jury) don't agree with your opinion and TBH that's all the matters.
You have 0 evidence for that - the court speaks for itself
The evidence in a court of law suggests otherwise.
I wonder did he do the silly walk coming out of court.
Again, the justice system let's an SA predator get away with his crime. Women are not valued in law. Disgusting!! Well done to that brave lady. I hope she manages to move on and has a great life. That perv should be ostracised from the rest of society, forever!
Women are not valued in law. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Yeah women have longer prison sentences than men. Yeah men win everything in the divorce courts. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Stop it. Get some help. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
What kind of mother talks about her daughter like that😂 do you want your daughter to take random men into hotel rooms with your friends.
Wasn't he married ??? She would have gotten Millions in the US .
Money train
Not the easiest way to get money. Her boyfriend was ambushed and stabbed in their family home, and they had to move house, etc.
This is a witch hunt 😢
Yes, unfortunately every time a woman alleges she was sexually assaulted by a celebrity, and has evidence, and wins a court case based on the evidence, it is ridiculous how many people, almost always men who have no lived experience, or education on the topic, go after the female victim of assault as if she is a witch.
Yes, they always go after women who are proven victims of assault as if they are witches. Just read comments on any case.
Sounds like he was set up if the story's true
White men....
She came for gold and left with bronze.😂😂😂
Yeah this makes justice water down you did ,but you've got the money you can walk a way how long has this been and is it because of all these 1% coming up in front of the judge ???????
Theres alot more men worse
That reads like an apology, which I imagine was not your intention
So is that supposed to be of comfort to anyone?
Sadly that's true.
It sounds like you are trying to invalidate this woman's ongoing nightmare experience. A lot of men are not violent rapists, too.
How is Conors whiskey brand doing i wonder.
Law for the poor only
This girl is a joke. She is in a relationship and she invites another man to a party? She was trying to upgrade her life and lifestyle, but connor wanted a quick lay. After the fact, i bet she tried to stay in contact and felt dissrespected because he ghosted her.
Incorrect. McGregor invited her because they grew up in the same area and knew each other.
& it couldn't be because she tried to stay in contact and got ghosted... she told her partner it had happened when she got home that day.
He's a violent criminal... even before this, they were the facts... this isn't out of character behaviour... but his little fans are jumping through hoops to defend him.
KHABIB CHANGED CONORS LIFE FOR EVER. GAVE HIM A WHOOPING OF A LIFE TIME AND HE BEEN IN A DOWN SPIRAL EVER SINCE. WHEN HIS CHILDREN GROW UP THEY WILL GOOGLE HIM.
All over black and blue bruising is not consistent with being pinned down. All over bruising is consistent with a battery, this was not a battery but compression, being held down.
Connor did not cause these injuries.
Glad you were there to clear that up.
What is your area of expertise, or lived experience? Because the experts, and person with the lived experience of the assault, seem to know more than you.
Total lies
Jake paul he should fight him
250k is that it!
He spoke out against immigration and the government.
And?
😂😂😂😂😂 let me guess a matrix attack?
@@lloydgermin2022 its not even a new attack - it has just been forgotten about and recycled. A notable few just recently - Mat Gaytz, Russel Brand Julian Assange. Just look at the criminal trial details and her fake tears for starters.

Verbose. Her statement reads like an Oscar award win.
She's been waiting 6 years to win... why shouldn't it.
So should p diddy
There is a reason there was no criminal charge. I'm no fan of him but i don't believe women with no evidence.
Ban alcohol and then you can reduce the number of actual crimes as well as the alleged ones.
There was significant medical and forensic evidence you dolt.
There was lots of evidence over the 8 day trial. Thats why he lost ya melon.
Obviously banning alcohol would increase crime. Never hears of prohibition?
Ban alcohol. 🤦♀️
Like that’s a thing
@@denisdaly1708You the dolt
@@denisdaly1708 I wonder why there was no criminal case with all that evidence 🤔
I hate the guy but after watching true jordys vid I think he has more evidence of him being innocent
So the civil case standard is on the balance of probabilities. So essentially a 51% chance that what's alleged occurred.
So you cant be half a rapst. Please try to understand the difference in civil and criminal
He is not a criminal regarding this offence and has not been criminally convctd.
Referring to someone as a "rapst" without a criminal conviction could be considered defamatory, as it implies criminal guilt.
He is a violent criminal though... this is all incredibly on brand for Conor.
Yet even after being found guilty men are jumping through hoops to defend him from something that sounds very much like him.
@@amandadublin3129 everyone can have their opinion of someone and their history, but in the context of this particular case , people are clearly incorrect
@@davedavids2231The fact is that there was sufficient evidence for this woman to win the case. If you are choosing to reject reality, you may want to ponder why you would do that.
Another garden tool comes forward with a fairy tale.

😢😢😢pity. He is wild
Civil cases have a pathetic bar for conviction. For anyone too take the alligations seriously it needs too go through a criminal court
Having listened to all the evidence presented, the jury decided it was more probable than not that Mcgregor r**** the victim.
Civil courts aren’t their for criminal cases .
In a civil Court you lose if you don't show up. You literally have to prove your innocence. You do not have presumed innocence and you do not have to be proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
@@sarahsarah4271😂 exactly
I don’t believe her
I do believe her
where you in court to hear all the evidence?
The jury did. So...
Considering almost all women you have ever met have been sexually assaulted, the odds that you are wrong about every woman you think is lying, is high. Fortunately, it wasn't up to you to determine the facts. The civil court ruled on the facts. It is very difficult to win such cases, and she did.
Sharmuta.
So there wasn't any evidence apart from testimony? That's not the same as evidence, right?
Plenty of forensic evidence
