    If you don't have a wet saw you can cut curves with a Dremel diamond wheel. Just cut halfway thru tile then snap it off.

    I think you do a great job explaining and obviously you have experience at what you are doing. One thought about the light switch, and just an observation, did you ask a professional to draw up your plans. I noticed on the last video you showed hand drawn plans...and eve with your window video you didn't show a dimesioned plan. I like your work, just wondered if you work with a local architect to draw up your plans.

    • @TheExcellentLaborer
      @TheExcellentLaborer  3 года назад +1

      Jesse Wilkerson I did not consult a professional about my house plans. I created them from scratch. After years of being in the field you know what you canning can’t do as far as spans, weight load, and trust design etc. I’m glad you are liking my videos and the work I’m doing. I’m glad you are liking my channel. I hope that helps you.

    Aren't you supposed to center the first tile in the middle of the room? Or, are bathrooms different? This will give an even size tile on both sides of the room instead of one wall having a full tile and the other wall having a 4 inch tile.

    • @trentjensen96
      @trentjensen96 Год назад

      There's several sizes. Anything smaller than 2" tile needs a 1/4" or smaller notch. Bigger needs 1/4" or bigger especially if it's floor tile.

    What happens when you wall is not straight how would you get you straight line before you set it with your chalk line ?

    • @TheExcellentLaborer
      @TheExcellentLaborer  3 года назад +2

      You would have to try to split the difference between the walls. Because you don’t have a straight line to go off of so you just got to blend it. Does that make sense?
