This, to me, was a prime example of work smarter, not harder. Good job!
Thank you! Appreciate that!!
I like your style, best ever, right on target. Easy way to installe,
not complicated. Perfection.
I’m trying to be a handy man with almost zero experience and this video helped alot

Thank you for your video. I'm planing to have my kitchen floor tiled professionally 375 SF, while living in it, how long does it take? will I be able to use the kitchen throughout the process? currently it is linoleum
If you don't have a wet saw you can cut curves with a Dremel diamond wheel. Just cut halfway thru tile then snap it off.
Cool tip Ed! I appreciate you watching!
Can you please make a video for us to see how it can be using the dremel diamond wheel thank you
@@nteexcel1844 just practice on an old piece of tile.
Thanks. I don't have a wetsaw so that's what I was going to try. Glad to know it works.
I think you do a great job explaining and obviously you have experience at what you are doing. One thought about the light switch, and just an observation, did you ask a professional to draw up your plans. I noticed on the last video you showed hand drawn plans...and eve with your window video you didn't show a dimesioned plan. I like your work, just wondered if you work with a local architect to draw up your plans.
Jesse Wilkerson I did not consult a professional about my house plans. I created them from scratch. After years of being in the field you know what you canning can’t do as far as spans, weight load, and trust design etc. I’m glad you are liking my videos and the work I’m doing. I’m glad you are liking my channel. I hope that helps you.
Great video! I am just at the beginning of educating myself on DIY. Can you please tell me how you prepped the floor before putting the tiles down? Thank you.
What size of notched trowel did you use for 12x12 tiles?
Hey, what if the customer doesn’t want gaps, tile to tile with leveler should not be a problem right?
So its.. concrete house foundation, cement board, thin set, then tile? Or is there wood between the concrete house foundation and cement board?
谢谢
😀
Am in Ghana and thst is the work am doing or learning I always follow you here but please I wish you can let come nd teach me well and I will also help you master
Came here to the comments to see the tile experts comments 😂 they WILL let us know who's doing & teaching shotty work👍 and apparently Josh gets an A+ Good job Josh
Aren't you supposed to center the first tile in the middle of the room? Or, are bathrooms different? This will give an even size tile on both sides of the room instead of one wall having a full tile and the other wall having a 4 inch tile.

I liked and subbed.
You didn't key in the substrate again and you really like that quarter inch trowel🤣👍
What size notch trowel do you use, as there a variety of sizes from small to large?
There's several sizes. Anything smaller than 2" tile needs a 1/4" or smaller notch. Bigger needs 1/4" or bigger especially if it's floor tile.
My bathroom floor is cement.. do you need to add cement board on top of cement too.. or just tile over the cement? Walk in shower same.
That’s my impression as well; just start with grout and tile. Must be confirmed
I found that if you flip the tile upside down when making the cut for a flange, the cut lines are hidden.
Great tip! Thanks for watching!
Use and angle grinder with a diamond blade lol
dry laying a whole room wowzers
What happens when you wall is not straight how would you get you straight line before you set it with your chalk line ?
You would have to try to split the difference between the walls. Because you don’t have a straight line to go off of so you just got to blend it. Does that make sense?

Can you polish these tiles with high gloss for a miror like finish?
I never heard of anybody doing that so I don’t know for sure. Thanks a lot for watching!
The water is to keep your saw blade cool not to keep the dust down
lol
It's actually to keep the dust down, the blade cool and the blade functional.
Why you need those things in between the tile?
It keeps the tile spaced correctly. So you don’t have to guess if it is lined up right! I hope that helps

Whatever works! Thanks for watching!
gotta center the door row in the middle of a doorway, otherwise it throws it all off
✌🏾
That flange cut is hack town
I’m a tiler and that is not the process whatsoever 😂😂😂
WHAT SIZE IS THAT TILE...IM LOOKING FOR 15x15 CANNOT FIND?
12x12”. I have never used 15 inch tile. I’m not sure if you would have those.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You don't have a concrete floor right?
I do not. I installed cement board on top of the subfloor. Thanks for watching!
