@@mahmya4519 G.Skill just announced Royal Z5 NEO for AMD. I would recommend getting those for your AMD system rather than using the Intel kit without XMP.
@@ECPUz dang guess I got unlucky, I got the toasty kit. idles 46C roughly and gaming goes up to 56-60C..... its been stable but curious if I'm pushing any temp thresholds as this is the hottest kit I've ever ran.
For 96gb, 8400MT/s with 40cl is worse than 6400MT/s with 32cl; hence the reason the former have a lower rating and they're less expensive. If you're gonna go for the best of opulence at that price and of 96gb(48x2), then go for the 6400 with 32cl instead.
hey, I'm also currently using the gskill royal neo cl28 32gb Is it normal for a RAM to glow a different color of blue at the top with RGB. I changed the slots of my Asus x870e Crosshair but the RGB lights are buggy. If I unplug the whole thing and restart it, the RGB is clean. It bugs again when playing. No idea. That said, I have a 96GB set of this in my brand new rig. I have bought G.Skill exclusively since 2004 and never had any sets fail. I never even questioned this set failing and doubt that it will.
(edit: the trident ram with EXPO is called "trident royal *NEO*") Seriously what's the point of making such high-end cosmetic RAM only for it to not reach advertised speeds for anyone with an AMD processor
They have a version of it but its in ddr4 if you have a ddr4 pc and it has more gb and less cl latency but speeds are limited to 5000mt but the have both dual and quad kits of it

Have you used XMP 1 or XMP 2, I also noticed there’s an option for XMP Tweaked, does it matter?

It would work, but wouldn't be ideal. Their Royal Neo line is aimed at AMD customers.
Mine just arrived same ram specs. Tried it on 7800X3D + B650E.
Runs ok with stock XMP. Bumped up VDDQ to 1.45v and 6600m/t fail
