Hi can you recommend Jersey for a holiday it's a choice between Jersey or Paris,
Jersey looks nice but is it too quiet ?
    👍

Both excellent options but I think Jersey is underrated and definitely worth a visit. The sandy beaches are stunning, there are beautiful walks and you also get the city feel in st Helier. It’s very easy to get around the island through the frequent bus service. The pubs in Jersey are great. Jersey is also very clean, something Paris understandably lacks at times. I hope this helps!

@@SweetCarolinesWorld1 Hi Caroline , Many thanks for all your help and advice , Jersey has always been on my mind for some time now, what attracts me to Jersey is the history , beaches , castles and like you say it looks so clean, I will probably go in October get away from the busy city and just chill out, I hear Jersey is still using paper pound notes , So St Helier will definitely a place I will be visiting .
      Cheers 👍
      David

@@davidai9024 You’re very welcome David. We also did the Mont Orgeil castle on the last day and it was fantastic - so well presented with interactive rooms. The history in Jersey as a whole is exceptionally well documented as the only “British” soil occupied by German forces during the war. Prior to this however it was always under attack, hence why the castles were so important. I know you’ll have a great time. We got away with just using our credit cards there throughout all over the island. Any other questions - happy to help!

@@davidai9024 so sorry to have only seen your message now. Best pub is The Halkett Pub. Great venue, decor en pointe and food scrumptious- they do a mean roast.
All the buses are so cheap and fantastic. My fav beach was Portelet Bay and if you ask the bus driver to let you know when there, they are all super friendly as are the people!
      Have an awesome time!
