Don't think they are supposed to be glossy. It's your car, but you are considering $1000 worth of tires to get it right so the wheels should be right also.
Dude another great video. I need to get those wire brushes from hardware store .I did all mine by hand, with sand paper, and I used the 91% Isopropyl Alcohol before I repainted. If you want a 80-90% Used Good Year. RS P71 tire, Go into, Langston's used auto parts, on HWY 301. They have racks of the wheels and Tires. I paid $ 50 for wheel and tire for a spare I was missing, from and Auction car.P71 Guy out.
I wouldnt go with the GoodYear one's dont really need it, but if you like the Styles then go for the Kelly Edge A/S 235/55R17 99H VSB Performance tire Police still use them, and much cheaper. (Around $100 at walmart and $10 to mount and bali) I have to put all new tires on my 2014 Caprice, its about $136 per tire.
Hey man order those eagle rs a tires used off ebay. Make sure they are at least 7 /32 of treat and they will look brand new. They come with a one yr 50000 mile warranty for around 65 bucks a piece. I have 4 on my 2008 vic and they ride like new and look new. Those tires are very exspensive new so this is an economical way to get a few or a set..
You can buy the genuine Goodyear Police-spec tires, but they are expensive (I was quoted for $1200 a set) but they have a signifigantly (double thickness) thicker sidewall.
Looks good Allen, but I believe you should of used primer on it then paint it then clear coated this oh wait started off with sand paper 2. 2000 grit, but that's just me. You did a good job just the way you did it
The spray paint I used is supposedly "paint and primer" in one. We'll see how it holds up to the Florida sun. I probably should have used some ultra fine sandpaper, but I compensated by doing three thick coats of paint. Would have probably only needed one coat with better prep work - LOL

I paid $111.17 each for two of the Goodyear RS-A 235/55-17 OEM Police tires from Amazon. Not sure what web sites you checked 🤔.
Why don’t you replace the tire with a good used tire instead of letting the car sit all the time!

Get you a jack stand bro I put mines under my car yesterday when I put the rim I got from on yard on the Vic never know when the Jack's gone fail

Amazon has the Goodyear Police 235/55-17 tires for sale at $124.00 each. I bought two at $111.17 each.
