Another great reaction, thx, cool how you decided to look outside of your musical comfort zone. KoRn got many dark songs about uncomfortable topics, which somehow gave a lot of comfort to people who have experienced similar horrors at Jonathan did. Bless
Spooky is KoRn's middle name! Lol! If you're looking for different, KoRn is it! They're sooo unique, nobody else sounds like them! They've been my favorite band for about 20 years now! Absolutely keep diving into their music, sooo many awesome songs! I'm pretty sure this song is about how the leader singer's father didn't want him to go into music as a career, because he didn't believe he would be successful. This was off their 3rd album, Follow the Leader (1998), same as Freak on a Leash, the 1st KoRn song you reacted to. Check out "Blind" next, their 1st single off their 1st album back in 1994, introduced the world to a whole new sound.
So weird I've heard this song a million times and never noticed the background growling vocals thank you for noticing that for me!!! Korn is my favorite!!!
My favorite Korn song ever, I saw them play it live once in 2002, and it was even more epic live than on record. What’s really cool about it is that Jonathan Davis wrote this song about his parents trying to keep him out of the music business. And what’s amazing is that he worked as a mortician at the Kern County coroner’s office before he joined Korn, so you could say that he was surrounded by dead bodies on a daily basis. He wrote another song from the Follow the Leader album called Pretty, which is also about an experience he had as a mortician.
I've seen them live about 50 or so times they do play this song live but not often especially now that they have so many songs you react to korn I'll be watching doesn't matter what song it is I love them all
You're as crazy as I am! I saw them 52 times LOL. I saw this song live a few times. Back in 2011 I think it was, they opened with this at Roseland Ballroom and the place fucking shook!
keep them korn reactions coming! eventually someone is going to recommend the song Daddy and i wouldnt listen to it until you are more familiar with the band and mentally prepared. its probably the most saddest, brutal, and disturbing song on the planet. with that out of the way... id recommend Here to Stay, Blind, Somebody Someone. its almost hard to recommend songs cause their catalog is so vast. This band has been going for almost 30 years and are still going writing bangers!
Probably the best reaction of a song from anyone. Most ppl act like they never heard a song when they have. You can tell it was your first time and I enjoyed watching especially at the end when it went off and you had to repeat it. Good stuff brother
I love all of the korn fans in the chat! You have no clue what you embarked into! Lol if you react to corn music, you’re going to get all the korn love from the fans… they are all pretty much down to earth cool fucking people😎🙏🏻 I know you are a fan yourself👍🏻 I have never Bunk’d heads with a korn fan ever😂
The first 4 korn albums are masterpieces in nu metal. They kind of went a different route after that imo still enjoyable though. Linkin park took over as the best nu metal band after that.
Hey msn just came across your channel ive been a korn fan since i got in to metal i loved your reaction you should react to some stuff off the album take a look in the mirror Songs Right now Counting on me When will this end best nu metal intro in korn dude! But dude on this album Dead bodies Its on Reclaim my place B.B.K Another amazing album is untouchables Hating Bootled upinside Thoughless No ones there Alone i break Welcome to the korn family dude keep rocking🤘
Awesome reaction video! So I'm going to be that guy real quick because I actually related to something you said in the beginning of this video. I'm paraphrasing, but you said something about hip-hop getting a little stale and you're trying to expand musically. Again, paraphrasing haha. Well thats EXACTLY how i got into metal/rock. Korn was my introduction and have been my favorite since 98. I was very much into hip-hop and rap throughout Middle School but like you, it started getting stale to me. I wasnt really liking the new albums i got or whatever new single from _____ was when i used to love it. The last rap album i bought was Rakims solo album from 98 (i forget what it was called), but it did NOTHING for me. DMX was the "new" rapper I loved at the time and i still liked biggie, Tupac, onyx, etc...but even those albums were losing their "new car smell". About a month before this album came out. My brother and I were playing video games and he was losing, so he did the whole thing where he pause the game said he needed get amped up and started playing music like he normally did. Then i hear Twist from Korn on the Life is Peachy album and I'm like "wtf was that?!?!" (Its 52 seconds of pure batshit scatting). Next thing I knew, I stole jis CD and made a cassette tape. Then I immediately get the first album and fall in love. Follow the leader came out about a month or so later and my life forever changed since. I've been in metal bands since 99. Have accomplished more than i ever thought even though im still not that successful. In 2009 my old band played with Korn and it was one of the greatest days of my life. Also seen them over 52 times. They will ALWAYS be my favorite band. Sorry for the novel, but it's crazy that you said the same exact thing that I thought when I was 12 years old about hip-hop and then I immediately discovered Korn. Although I did hear first two albums before this one, this was still the album that crossed me over. I mean theres Ice Cube and The Pharcyde (i fucked that up hah) so its perfect for someone into hip hop to get into.
Another great reaction, thx, cool how you decided to look outside of your musical comfort zone. KoRn got many dark songs about uncomfortable topics, which somehow gave a lot of comfort to people who have experienced similar horrors at Jonathan did. Bless
I was had a thing with rock music thanks to Tony hawk pro skater 4 sound track 🔥

Ok, bet. I will definitely check it out. I just reacted to it's on 🔥🔥
@@becomeaproreacts1536 Great! Looking forward to watching your reaction!
They were my favorite band, then Linkin Park hit the scene. I still love Korn as they were my intro to Nu Metal.
This song is largely about Jonathan Davis's (the lead singer) time working in a mortuary.
I hope you keep down this rabbit hole. :)
I will bro, stay tuned 😎
Oh, by the way, you asked if they ever perform this song live, and the answer is yes. It is a lot of fun to be a part of. :)
So weird I've heard this song a million times and never noticed the background growling vocals thank you for noticing that for me!!! Korn is my favorite!!!

One of my favorite Korn songs. Makes me feel good every time.
Jon layers his voice a lot, it's usually him. In the first two albums head used to chime in a bit, maybe on the 3rd too but it's usually Jon layered.
Johnathan Davis (singer) worked at coroner's office in his youth
I've seen them live about 50 or so times they do play this song live but not often especially now that they have so many songs you react to korn I'll be watching doesn't matter what song it is I love them all

Hell yea let's go! Follow the Leader is one of their greatest. Yep they had songs on horror movie soundtracks.

No one is really ready for Daddy... It changes you.
Probably the best reaction of a song from anyone. Most ppl act like they never heard a song when they have. You can tell it was your first time and I enjoyed watching especially at the end when it went off and you had to repeat it. Good stuff brother
