When it comes to Destiny 2 PvP, Grenade Launchers are often regarded as some of the most toxic weapons in the game. This build takes GLs to a whole new level, with Lucky Pants allowing you instaswap and melt whichever poor foe enters your sights. I really wonder how GLs will play out in the meta when it comes to Lightfall and Strand. Enjoy!

13:52 Assign three of your D-Pad directions to each weapon slot (you can keep the emote on them with a long press) and then you can swap to any weapon without your right thumb needing to do it.
But then your left thumb has to move off of the left stick, which is use for movement?
I mean I guess it's quicker than using Y or triangle but still there's gonna be that slight delay either way
Just play claw sm easier I swear it makes you 10x better because u have access to every button
Use this with Thorn! Disruption Break + DOT! Even if they manage to get away from you, unless they get some form of healing they'll burn out from 1 or 2 shots depending on Resilience!
Any grenade launcher hit + 2 shots from any hand cannon would do the same thing lol
@@joselazo6840 10 Resil Titan you can literally clip them with the wave. Obviously not explained myself very well lol. It's helpful against Overshields, etc.

ok so GL role is wrong quick launch HV quto disruption with velocity MW and QAS gives max handling velocity and BR on the GL pair with say lumina and you manage to get lumina buff what happens is you hit someone with gl for 150[130normally] and the for 7 seconds you OR anyone on your team using a kentic can hit that person (using lumina for these numbers with lumina buff if you want wi/o lumina buff I will put them in brackets) you hit them in the head for 120hp!!!![104ish no lumina buff] the body is 90[70] and don't think lumina is hard to proc you can just run bootys pf the assembler on warlock and run double HC dex for max handling on your lumina the only thing you have to watch out for is not swaping back to lumina too fast before disruption can proc

Any tips for Last Word users? I can't snipe for crap so I full send it with glaive and Last Word for chaotic close range fights.
I myself use a bow like Point of the Stag, Strident Whistle, or Under your Skin. With the Quick Access Sling mod on either the GL or Bow and Lucky Pants as your exotic, the swap speed is insanely beautiful.
Yeah I did this exact thing with Last Word+Truthteller in 2021. Insane. Never tried a wave frame though, looks broken!
Jake you could try claw grip for this build. Some people don't like it but it is useful

Maybe a kinetic 140 or 120 to add some range to the build? Maybe high AE since you jump a bunch too?

@JMooreBig1994 yeah hawkmoon was my first thought when Jake mentioned range issues, especially on this map to break stalemates
Running this weapon combo with mechaneer’s tricksleeves and travelers chosen or empircal evidence is also really fun.
I use that build when I had a god real truth teller now the one that’s built by tex Mechanica is better than that truth teller but I got to say that grenade launcher you’re using. Looks like it’s a lot better strategically because a lot of people are going to jump out of the way and it’s gonna be hard for them to get out of there because of airborne effectiveness.

bro nah use lumina with it you get lumina buff GL hits for 150 with disruption lumina will then hit for 120ish hp the most broken thing in the game and I have been using this since Exlosive personality came out I wish Disruption break worked like this back when I had my Marty

the only solution to swap builds on controller imo is to get used to claw gripping your controller but i know that isnt something anyone changes just like that

Does anyone have any tips for getting GL kills in PvP, I'm not very good at, and don't like PvP, but it's making me do it for the Witherhoard catalyst.

@@larrybyrd5634 hm, difficult weapon to get good at, I've only used it once, and I'm bad at PvP even with normal weapons
your best bet is to wait for momentum control to roll around, and then use a wave frame and colony, as both will one shot.

I have 4 paddes: Top Left is set to click left analogue in (Sprint), Bottom Left is set to melee, Top Right is set to Crouch,Slide,Dodge ect. Bottom Right is set to Jump.
I didn't know weapon slots could be mapped to dpad? I might have to try this coz I too have to take my thumb off right analogue yo press Y to change weapons.
Edit: I've actually used this build with the crimson and it's ridiculous especially if you tag multiple enemies with disruption and basically 1 tap them all 🤣🤣🤣
I'll def give this a try this weekend but it's not gonna be viable in a few weeks. Everyone will be in the air with strand. Wave frames will do nothing

@@nazarus1283 I mean it doesn't have to be a buff, maybe a catalyst? I just feel like it's more impossible to use on a normal players level now that smgs are meta. Like no range and a smaller hit box? You're not gonna win that fight. I'm just saying
@@NeoCoyote depends, it's optimal ttk is pretty nutty, the lack of range and accuracy kinda keeps it in line. A catalyst would be cool tho, maybe give it something like offhand strike?

Use genesis instead of auto loading. It reloads on shield break. It's awesome.

@Lord_Muggs bro...that's just wrong. Try it. I was literally doing it in IB. It gives a partial reload, which for GLs reloads the entire mag.
@@ImReverseGiraffe how's he wrong? It's a wave frame gl which intrinsically has a high chance of missing. Yes, if you hit it reloads and you can do a follow up show but most people would rather use auto loading for hot swaps since it's more reliable

What controller and controller scheme do you use? Your aim and movement is so smooth, whenever I play on controller everything feels so jerky and weird. D2 has always felt that way since launch for me that's one if main reasons I switched to pc.
