I have a midterm tomorrow and I have not been able to figure out proximal and distal when it comes to parts of the body until just now. My instructor has never been able to give a proper explanation of it, and there are so many of us in class confused about it. You just sent off a huge lightbulb in my head. Proximal is closer to the axial, distal is further away from the axial. You simply saying proximal and distal are for appendicular direction just made so much sense. Why didn't she know that? 35 years of nursing, go figure. Anyway, I appreciate the whole video, but that just gave me so much insight!

Memory trick (kinda rude though) Sagittal sounds like saggy balls, thats how I remember it. lol so if you cut the body in the mid sagittal plane, you would cut the saggy balls.

At first sight the study of human anatomy may appear very difficult. It's true that it's complex and your studies wont alter that. As for being overwhelming, this can be solved if you take it one step at a time. I discovered an article on Sebs Study Crammer extremely useful for this.

@@phychodadseriesscriptwrite5384 yes I did. Made an 81. Would say one thing. The moment you finish the test start studying for the next. There’s a lot of info for each exam and the only time you should take a break is when you either know your set like a day before the test or you have a break like spring break. Seems like a lot of work but it’s not. Keep calm and focused and you should always be ok. Oh and don’t worry you should always be free to do stuff. I studied about 6-10 hours a week so about an hour a day and you should easily pass. Wish you luck!

can you use superior and inferior on the limbs? like if your arm is raised above your head can you say your right arm is Superior to you left arm? because you said that you cant apply it to your limbs or is that you Can but they are usually not often used?

The deal here being that when we refer to anything on the human body, we refer to it in anatomical position.

There are several factors in learning anatomy. One resource I found that succeeds in merging these is the Anatomy Blueprint Pro (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the most useful course that I've seen. look at this extraordinary website.

Many thanks, been searching for "anatomy and physiology human body pictures" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Piayilliam Uncomplex Power - (do a search on google ) ? It is a great one off product for discovering how to become an expert in human anatomy and physiology minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got great success with it.
