Hi, my friends, the written pattern is here:
Crochet turtle keychain🐢
Hook: 2.5 mm
Yarn: milk cotton 4ply
Eyes: 8mm*2
Step 1: crochet turtle shell
R 1: magic ring, ch3 as 1dc, ( 2dcs, ch1 )into the ring*6 times.
R 2: change yarn color, ch3 as 1dc, ( 2dcs, ch1, 2dcs )in each ch1-sp*6 times.
R 3: 2sl sts to reach the 1st ch1-sp, ch3as 1dc, 7dcs in each ch1-sp, 6 times in total.
R 4: change yarn color, 1sl st to close the round, ch3 as 1dc, 1dc into next st. ( 2dcs, 1hdc, inc 1hdc, 1hdc, 2dcs, 1tr spike st 1 row below ) in order, 6 times in total.
R 5: 1sc into each st, 54 sc in total.
Then, 1sl st to end the work, cut the yarn, weaving in the ends.
Step 2: Crochet turtle’s belly
R 1: magic ring, 6scs.
R 2: inc, 2scs in each st, 12scs in total.
R 3: ( 1sc, inc )*6=18scs
R 4: ( 1sc, inc, 1sc )*6=24scs
R 5: ( 3scs, inc )*6=30scs
R 6: ( 2scs, inc, 2scs )*6=36scs
R 7: ( 5scs, inc )*6=42scs
R 8: ( 3scs, inc, 3scs )*6=48scs
R 9: ( 7scs, inc )*6=54scs
⚠️ 1, Don't crochet the belly too tight.
2, Sewing the shell and the belly together, leave 2 groups of patterns at the bottom without sewing, and leave 1 St at the top without sewing.
Step 3: Crochet turtle’s head
R 1: magic ring, 6scs
R 2: ( inc 1sc )*6=12
R 3: ( 1sc, inc )*6=18
R 4-5: 18scs
R 6: ( 4scs, Dec )*3=15
R 7: 15scs
R 8: ( 3scs, Dec )*3= 12
Put some stuffing in it, then crochet a woven piece for the bottom of the head: Magic ring, 6scs.
Ch38 as a lanyard.
Sew them together. Pick the loop close to the inside of the fabric and sew it up. The 6 stitches at the bottom correspond to the 12 stitches at the head. merge every two stitches into one stitch.
Step 4: Crochet the turtle’s legs, 4 pieces in total
R 1: magic ring, 6scs
R 2: inc *6=12scs
R 3: ( 1sc, inc )*6= 18scs
Then, fold it in half, and crochet the edges together with 9scs.
Finally, put all the parts together

What is the thickness of the yarn? The ply count or the type of material doesn't tell the thickness of the yarn. Please specify. Thank you!
Hi there, I used milk cotton yarn 4ply, crochet hook: 2.5mm.
Thank you for your response but 4 ply doesn't indicate the thickness. Do you mean it is number 4 medium weight?
