I know they want to differentiate this system from the Altima’s, but the lack of the center speaker really hurts this system. The Altima sounds much better in my opinion with just one more speaker, could be the mixing too
You often mention the Mazda Bose sound system and how much you like it. As you know when we spoke in person, I work at a Mazda dealership and spend a lot of wheel time in them and the Volvo's. And as I said, I just don't see what it is that you like so much in the Mazda's system. In fact, after having my new Bolt EV with it's Bose, I actually prefer it over the Mazda. Here's what I can tell you. Mazda is using this speaker in the firewall design and the last one I delivered about 50 miles away from the dealership, I connected my phone and listened to the exact same music as I do in my Bolt. What I really don't care for? The Mazda system has way too much sound coming from the front of the car and mroe spefically the center of the dash. It reminds me of my first car: a lowly 1979 Toyota Corolla hatch with an AM/FM radio and one speaker in the front on the dash center. I'm not saying the sound is the same of course. I'm saying that the focal point of the music is front and center just like the old Corolla. Without fading the sound towards the rear, it just sounds bland. As a note: I know how to adjust the Mazda system and had it set to the "optimum" setting like Mazda recommends.
Great to hear from you, Daniel. And yes, at the end of the day all of these are subjective. I do know from speaking with audio engineers that the general goal for a good audio system is to have the music coming from in front of you, as though you were in an audience. Many people don't care for that, which is why we see surround and 3D modes in higher audio systems.
@@DailyMotorSound Very true. And the point of the sound coming from the front like if you were in an audience makes sense. How if the wife likeing the new speakers?
always looking forward to these videos

@@danielberning1240 She loves them! They're great for her listening style. Certainly a worthwhile upgrade, thanks again for helping facilitate
Only 8 speakers? None in the back door😢😢
Can you please test the newest Tesla Model S?
Would love to, just don't have access unfortunately.
What music is always on the start?
How does the mazda 3 compare to the mazda cx30 bose?
Like Mazda3 Base Speakers vs CX-30 Premium Bose?
@@RainesMedia they’re the same system, so they pretty much sound identical
Very similar, I would give slight edge to Mazda 3
how is this doing 70 mph at 1900 rpm?
Lol right? Benefits of a CVT
is there 2 subwoofers in the trunk area?
no.
No. They are likely two lower frequency woofers to take the place of a subwoofer. @@RainesMedia
