  • Hello from Halo! Sam here. This is a walkthrough on changing the density of your digitized embroidery designs in Wilcom e4.5 Embroidery Studio.
To reiterate, the density we are referring to is the density IN BETWEEN each stitch.
DECREASING the density INCREASES the stitches in the same space and makes the stitch thicker.
INCREASING the density DECREASES the stitches in the same space and makes the stitch more loose and thin.

I have issues with little gaps in white thread, especially in text, all other colors don't show the gaps. Is that a density issue or is that just the way white thread is? I also notice that when stitching white thread, the threads look like they bunched up, like stacked on top of each other. Also, do you have a video that deals with issues with white thread? It's the only color I seem to have issues with. Thanks.

I probably use white thread more than any other color, and I don't encounter the issues you are describing more with white thread. It is also difficult to judge tension with white thread unless you use a different color bobbin thread - this might be a good experiment for you to try. White thread is often thinner due to the bleaching it has undergone. Have you tried a different brand of thread? This might be another good experiment. Best of luck to you! Thanks for watching our videos.
