पंढरपूर वारी की शुरुआत 13वीं शताब्दी में हुई थी और यह यात्रा हर साल आषाढ़ महीने में होती है। लाखों भक्त आलंदी और देहू से पैदल चलकर भगवान विठोबा के मंदिर पंढरपूर पहुँचते हैं, जो लगभग 250 किलोमीटर लंबी होती है। यह यात्रा "वर्ल्ड बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड्स" द्वारा "एक दिन में सबसे अधिक देखे जाने वाले स्थानों में से एक" के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त है। यात्रा के दौरान, भक्त भजन-कीर्तन करते हुए चलते हैं और समाज सेवा में भी योगदान देते हैं। चंद्रभागा नदी को पार करना और विठोबा मंदिर के दर्शन करना भक्तों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण अनुभव होते हैं। संत ज्ञानेश्वर और संत तुकाराम ने इस यात्रा की परंपरा शुरू की थी, जो आज भी जीवित है।
Pandharpur Wari, starting in the 13th century, takes place annually in the month of Ashadha. Millions of devotees walk about 250 kilometers from Alandi and Dehu to the Vithoba temple in Pandharpur, making it one of the world's largest pilgrimages. Recognized by the World Book of Records as "one of the most visited places in a day," the Wari is a vibrant blend of devotion, music, and social service. Crossing the Chandrabhaga River and seeking blessings at the Vithoba temple are key highlights. This tradition, initiated by Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram, continues to thrive today.
