Like you, my love for Gucci recently resurfaced this year after a decade of not purchasing anything from that fashion house.
My mom bought one lyxbag and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
I bought my first designer bag at the age of 72. It is a Gucci Horsebit tote similar to your denim tote but it has gorgeous leather around it. The magnet is so strong I can’t believe it! I love Gucci. I have since bought about 5 preloved LV bags. But Gucci has my heart also! Love your collection.

I have to thank you Minnie for your reveal of the Gucci playing card set. As soon as you first revealed it I raced to the Gucci website to buy and and it has been a permanent staple in my bags ever since! I love how all my cards are in one place and I keep my most frequently used cards to the front so I don't scramble them too much. The playing cards are now with my brother who is a big poker fan so I'm glad they went to someone who will enjoy them. I would have never known about this wonderful versatile piece if you hadn't have revealed it so thank you so much! X

I know what you mean about Gucci quality. My husband bought me a crossbody bag back in 1988 when we got engaged and the zipper stitching ripped. When he took it back to the Department store, they had stopped carrying Gucci, so they gave him a Dooney in it's place! I had that for 30 years and gave it to Goodwill. That was before I started reselling my old bags! During the pandemic he started buying me Gucci again. The quality has definitely gotten better!
I’ve had my Gucci key pouch for over a year, and I’ve used it everyday. Like you said, it’s so versatile. I’ve used it in many different ways and have zero wear and tear. I love this piece so much. It’s definitely one of my top 3 favorite SLG’s. Highly recommend! 🇮🇹

That ophidia key pouch is everything!! I have been using mine for a few years straight. I love it more than anything else! I have the ophidia tote with classic Gucci monogram canvas and wear it a ton as well. I love this line!

Love, love, love Gucci! I purchased the Gucci Ophidia GG pouch (looks like a clutch) and it’s wearing extremely well. I also have an older tote (GG Supreme Monogram Web XL Animalier top handle, preloved); both pieces still look new.
Tip: I scotch guard the red/green web (and all cloth bags), in case I spill something on my bags.
I have the gucci marmont card holder and I've had it for a year and use it every single day, luckily it still in good condition lol. Great video. I love your tote!

You definitely influenced me to buy the deck of cards case. One of the best purchases I ever made because it can fit so much! I put my key fob, cards and spare cash and it's all nice and snug!

Thanks for sharing Minnie! Due to the insane prices of LV I have ventured into Gucci. I just purchased the beige Soho Disco bag. I know some may be over it but it has always been on my radar. The leather is beautiful & after using it for two weeks, I absolutely love it!

LOL Minnie, I love your worst and favorite choices the best! 😂 Have my eye on those two Ophidia pieces (cosmetic vanity and dome key/coin pouch)! However, I don’t see the dome key/coin pouch selling…is it discontinued? I bought all of my first Gucci pieces in 2018, but have never used them! I don’t know why, but I still have them in their boxes! I have the Queen Margaret wallet (with the huge bee/moth emblem, and I wish I got the matching Blind for Love web purse), a black leather watch with snake emblem inside the face, and red Marmont card case to match the red Marmont purse I bought. I bought my red Marmont Matelasse shoulder bag with front flap and top handle, which was brand new from Gucci on 5th Ave, still wrapped in white paper and plastic, but when I opened it at home, mine had a broken GG emblem that was hanging off and swinging!!! I was so disappointed, I didn’t even bother to exchange, I just returned it, boxed up and all. It was a failed unveiling for me. That’s probably why I didn’t even use my other pieces, because I was so disappointed in the purse. It’s probably about time I used them now! LOL Thanks for sharing and letting me share! I’m not really into Gucci handbags, but absolutely love their SLGs! I have 5: a full size wallet in Guccissima leather, a pink Guccisima leather card holder, a red Marmon card holder, a leather key pouch, and a black belt with horseshoe buckle. Have been using them for many years and they have been held up really well! Oh, I used to have a pair of high heels from Gucci. They were so comfy as high heels go. 😊❤

Gucci gang, gang 😃. It's the dbl GG for me, it is the most affordable luxury line in comparison that delivers aesthetics, glam, chicness and all time status. However a lot of luxury brands have been a little stingy with really durable items, they are producing inferior products for premium prices😧. I still look forward to the newest drop hoping for the best
The playing card set is the best! It’s a perfect SLG to use as a small catch all/key pouch/wallet. It’s a great alternative to their Gucci key pouch, which I find a bit smaller/tighter than the LV key pouch. Now, what to do with the playing cards….🤔🤪

I have been hunting for a Gucci key pouch forever. I have 5 very different bags and love them all… mostly pre-loved in Excellent condition. I have buttery black hobo, the turquoise monogram camera bag, a vintage tote, brown Guccisima tote and 2 wallets. I’ll stay on my hunt for the pouch. ❤️

I had the same problem with the marmont leather. I had to return two mini bags because of popped stitches within the first week of wear. I won’t buy anything marmont again.

I went to look at a cosmetic bag at Gucci on 5th Avenue NYC a few weeks ago. The SA brought it out to me and had to step away. I took it out of the dust bag. The zipper pull was missing. I found it in the dust bag and turned to the guy next to me and asked him if self assembly was required. Lol

I love Gucci bags but for whatever reason, they just don't work out for me! Either they are too big or too small or the straps are too short or I know they just won't wear well. I don't know?! But I have been wanting to get the little Ophidia coin pouch forever and finally found a new one without the markup! Hope it lives up to the hype, lmao!!! Thanks for the video!!

I have found that zippers are hit or miss, with ALL brands, even Louis Vuitton. I purchased 3 Gucci items (identical items at the same time); two had great zippers and one didn’t. However, Gucci replaced it with no problem.
I’ve bn in love with Gucci since I was a child. I would model in the mirror when I was 12 years old with my moms bag. I would say when I grow up I’m going to wear Gucci. And here we are 😊😊😊.

I think those big train cases are a bit too clumsy to use as a handbag. I used to have one and it was pretty awkward as the bag kept hitting things and people. 😬😂
I'd probably use that train case as something to store small towels or toiletries in my guest bathroom (if I had one) (If I had the extra money for a Gucci train case I would also have a guest bathroom) but other than that - I'd probably just put that thing on a table and tell it to look cute.

I love my Ophidia canvas tote. I use her for work and travel. I bought mine earlier this year for $1350 or 1390? It’s currently $1600. Ugh…I really want the denim version now. Is it worth $1600?
the key pouch is the only thing i'm interested in (because of your raving about it 😉), but it's no longer available in Canada (don't know if it's completely discontinued, but when i spoke with some SAs, they told me they can't even have a waitlist because they can't promise any clients the product would come back). so, oh well 😕

I think Gucci is so hit or miss. My denim tote wore terribly. The corners chipped within 4-5 wears. My Gucci Marmont card/coin case has worn like a champ. But, it’s why I won’t buy Gucci any longer. Because their quality is incredibly inconsistent.
