My impression of neurons has been so wrong. I thought the messages travelling between brain and body were transported by hundreds or thousands of neurons bouncing messages along a "chain", not realising how long some neurons can be. Now I understand it to be more like a few interconnected ropes or wires. I hope my understanding is more correct now 😬

One of the most informative yet comprehensive channels about the brain and the related science. Great work!
Dr. Kushner, i really hope one day you will make a video about the science behind OCD. Still haven't found a decent one on youtube that would come up to that topic with a scientific approach but in simple terms like you usually do (the other videos are either too simplified or too short and and don't really cover anything)
I know about the complicity of that disorder and about the various theories about its cause/treatments and still would like to see your explanation on it. Thank you!

Appreciate the feedback! I have thought about making an OCD video. I think what’s stopping me is the research is constantly changing on the disease. I will definitely consider it!

Nicely explained. Just wondering the origin of step 1(Motor neurons). Where do thoughts originate in the brain? How does a thought communicate with motor cortex?
