Thank you, as usual, Ryan. I've been deemed the singles' player on my USTA team, since no one else wants to do it. The minute you win ONE match, you can never get back on the doubles' lines. Need to watch all your singles' strategies videos.
Haha I believe in you! Start with this video: ruclips.net/video/g5kPQkDuKK8/видео.htmlsi=ouU1eK8Q4mtzMW-l
Nice video, Ryan! It's all about the directionals baby! Take that outside ball back to where it came from until you get that short inside ball, take it up the line, and follow it to the net!
Boom! Love it. Thanks so much!!! Good to hear from you again.
Hi Ryan I love your series on analyzing different players and this one was great. I enjoy watching Jasmine Paolini and Emma Navarro Play. I was watching Jasmine Paolini serve and it seems very unusual as she will lift the right real heel and then when she is serving she will lift her left front up while serving and completing the motion. It's hard to tell if she is turning her body while she is in the process of serving.I hope you do an analysis on this in the future. I hope you can do more on these two awesome players? Thank you.
Such a great channel! Thanks for all the info and quality analysis.
Wow really happy you like the video. :)
Love this tip! Thank you Ryan!👏
Wardlaw directionals strike again! Great point for showing how to create and take advantage of inside balls
Thank you. Very helpful. I'm learning to position based on reading the game
Glad to hear the videos are helping you!
@@2MinuteTennis I watch all your videos but don't usually leave comments! Too busy playing tennis 😂
I always leave a like and save your videos though!
@@CallumDToh wow! Well thank you for watching and for taking the time to message me. Now, get back out on the courts Callum. You got this!!
Paul Wardlaw's directionals, buy the book
Nice video, Hope it helps as many players as possible - except my opponents, of course.
That’s really helpful. I tend to (make a mistake and) move all the way forward to the net on these type of shots, and often get passed 😢
Glad this helped you Andrei!
Great breakdown of splitting the angles, Ryan. Amazing video, keep up the great work 👍
It's very exciting to watch Jasmine and other top female players like Emma Navarro and I hope you will do more in your series as a lot can learned by watching them play.
I like the strategy that you explained thanks!
Tnx Ryan
That's a very difficult down the line fh approach shot Jasmine hit, while getting out of the ball's way. On the rec level, it would be out, in the net, or too close to the center resulting in an easy passing shot cross court
The point of the video was to encourage rec players to recognize when they get their opponent in trouble and step forward inside the court.
Sounds like the Paul Wardlaw directionals to me 🔥🔥🔥🔥 everyone teaches this but nobody gives that guy credit.
Jasmin antisipate optimal . Great !!!!!!!
She must’ve seen your recent Rune video 😀
Summary:
Hit to their weaker side
When awaiting return take good covering position
When hit good shot step into court and be ready to run around and take ball earlier and thus create dilemma for your opponent
When hit second good shot get to the net and try to finish the point!
