Yes - surprisingly GOOD sound - no, not the one you'e demonstrated...😆😆....I' ve have this speaker, and it's 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Unless you are an "audiophile" who, only, likes to sink into an armchair between some 20000$ Hi-End speakers, powered by a correspondingly priced amp, this Marshall serves it's purpouse well. To listen to music in background, while reading for pleasure, studying, cooking, fixing a bike..... - is pretty satisfying. Clear and resonably detailed STEREO sound, with enough power.....
Hi, I picked the Stanmore 2 non Alexa version .... But even when the volume is on 30% there is barely any sound coming from the speaker . To actuall hear anything i need to pump it up to 60% to 80% . Is the speaker faulty ?
@@kartikaydhama3917 Hey i got it replaced but the replacement too was the same . I suppose it is the way it is . However the speaker is just AWESOME 👍 . Normally i use it at 60% volume. It just for parties or while watching a movie i need to crank it up to 85% or 90% . At MAX VOLUME it's good enough for a 800 Sq ft room . It's a great SPEAKER and you will never like listening to music on any other after this .
@@integrasystemsindia thanks for clearing the doubt. I had a word with the service centre guys at Luxury Personified LLP as well and they told me that it's how these speakers are designed.
No, it means their sound engineers don't know the logarithmic scale, what is kinda bummer given the measurement unit decibel is kinda used on everything with a volume control.
*Do not buy Marshall speakers.* I owned the Stanmore II for about three years until it suddenly stopped working (due to a firmware problem, which seems to be very common after 2 or 3 years of use). Since it was no longer under warranty, Marshall wanted to charge me around 200€ to fix it... Not worth it. I ended up selling it for parts and bought another brand. I also have an old Acton speaker that still works (and I'm happy with). I suppose the newer models are designed with planned obsolescence.
India they aren’t selling wifi version with Google assistant built in . Share link if you find it or if someone is bringing from outside i would like to have a wifi version
Why does nobody talk about the stupid and loud sound notification every time you turn it on or off? They're mpossible to disable!!!! I wish I knew about this before I bought it...
Hey, Below 50-60% volume, Stanmore 2 sounds pretty low, and when changed to 70%, it use to get pretty loud. Is it the case for you too? Seeing some comments, I am not the only one facing this.
Poor Review with opinions which doesn’t make too much sense :- Why would a non portable device have handles to carry?? Why would a non portable device have batteries?? Both options are given in Marshal’s portable devices like Kilburn, Stockwell, Tufton etc Don’t take it too hard, just suggestions :) Good luck!
Good spaeker as far as sound goes. But Marshall give no shit about support. They rather not patched the previous version, so it is unusable on wifi since last summer. Their official support kinda told me to gently fuck off and buy a new one. So good sound, extremely shit software support.

Woburn 2 or Stanmore 2? I already own the kilburn 2 and adore it
Nice video. It helped to get an overall idea about the product.
Great video! Jim Marshall was the father of loud so it should have huge power to push anyway!!

I'm not sure but if you can plug it via RCA then it might work. But try at your own risk.
